Let's talk right now in true crime, and then together we're going to work on warming up some cold cases. Let's go. Hey, guys, welcome to this week's episode of Primetime Crime. It's Kylie. We are going to go ahead and get into a little right now in true crime. But before we do, I want to give a quick PSA. I didn't know anything about this before I started podcasting. But when podcasters have ads that aren't recorded by them, so the ones that they're not telling you about, and it's just a randomly inserted ad, we do not as podcasters have control of what ads are inserted. I personally, as I'm listening to podcasts, I get a lot of ads for Texas legal gambling, online casino stuff because I live in Texas. So the ads that you're hearing aren't personally selected by us. We are given the option, at least on the hosting platform I use, where there are some categories that you can basically say you don't want ads from these certain categories in there, but it's not full proof. Sometimes things sneak through. So if you hear something on an AD that you don't like, know that it is not me selecting it. It is just randomized, and unfortunately it's based a lot on your demographics where you live. So I just wanted to give a little PSA. I also get a lot of ads in other languages, and I'm talking like German and French languages. I don't know I So I just wanted to put that out there because I know a lot of my podcasting friends. We've all talked about it. They've gotten messages about, oh, you had an AD for such and such thing on your podcast. I can't believe you would support that. And we don't have any control over what ads are placed in, but we also don't know what you're hearing. What I hear and what you hear are going to be two completely different things because we're listening from different areas. And it also, I think depends too on the platform you listen on, so there's a lot that goes into it. So just know no podcasters, unless they're recording an AD in their voice are choosing the ads. We don't, unfortunately, have total control over that. Even though we feel like we have a little bit of control still the sometimes things can sneak in, so total PSA. I just wanted to get that out there. Okay, let's get into right now. In true crime. I'm recording this on Wednesday. Tomorrow, Brian Walsh is going to be sentenced because they did in fact find him guilty of first degree murder, which I honestly was a little surprised that they found him guilty of first over second. But I'm glad that they found him guilty and his sentencing is going to be tomorrow. If it's anything wildly crazy, I will be sure to tag it on at the end of this right now in true crime, but I'm pretty sure he will not ever be seeing the light of day again. And I think he very much knew that he was toast because he didn't testify on his own behalf. They called no witnesses. The defense called no witnesses, so it was pretty cut and dry, pretty clear that he was going to be found guilty. I always say there's no slam dunks, But when the defense doesn't even put on a case, I feel like more often than not, it's sort of a slam dunk. So I'll keep you updated on his sentence. Stay tuned to my social media, and I will be sure to share whatever the sentence is. They were actually going to sentence him today, but they postponed it until tomorrow for reasons unknown at least to me anyway, So I will keep you updated on that one, okay. So, in John Binney Ramsey news, the latest is that there is new evidence that has been gathered and is being tested in the John Bennet Ramsey case. As we know, John Ramsey has been diligently working trying to get the DNA tested in his daughter's case, getting it turned over from the Boulder Police Department to a crime lab to test the DNA. So Colorado investigators said that they have new evidence. I don't think it's new evidence. I think it's evidence that they've never tested for one reason or another. And that's just my opinion. And they are now testing this new evidence, hopefully against the modern technology that we now have in twenty twenty five, and they said that they have conducted several new interviews based on tips that they've gotten, and they've also reinterviewed some people tied to the investigation, and they said that the investigation is still one of their top priorities. I'm not entirely sure that that's always been the case. They have very much portrayed it like they wanted it to be solved, but then they're sitting on this DNA that literally could solve the case with the twenty twenty five technology we have. So I want to go out on a limb and make a prediction that in twenty twenty six, John Maney Ramsey's murder is going to be solved, and I don't think the person who did it is alive any longer. That is just my gut feeling. I don't know why I feel like that, but I'm putting it out here on the pod. I've had this in the notes section on my phone for a long time, but that is my belief. And I'm sure that this person is going to also be tied to other crimes, and I think it's going to be a huge one, and I'm putting it out there that is one of my twenty twenty six predictions in true crime, that her case is going to be solved and there's going to be a lot more where that came from. Okay, let's talk about the horrible tragedy of Rob Reder and his wife, Michelle Singer Reiner losing their lives over the weekend the hands allegedly of their son, Nick Reiner. Now, this whole story, to me, there's so many layers, and I feel like more keeps coming out, and it's just such a sad, tragic ending to the lives of these two people. Rob Reiner obviously very very talented. He is behind some of the best movies in my lifetime at least super talented, super well respected, and the fact that this whole thing happened the way it did is just so sad and tragic. I can't even imagine. Their daughter is the one that found them and then called police and it has turned into this huge investigation. So Nick is thirty two years old. He has suffered with addiction over the years, he was homeless at one point in time, he had been staying in his parents' guest home for the last few years at least and Saturday evening they went to a Christmas party at Conan O'Brien's home. And from different things that are coming out, it is said that Nick was not dressed appropriately. I guess it was a pretty formal event and he was just acting weird, kind of interjecting himself into conversations that really weren't about him or had anything to do with him. And then there was apparently a blow up between Nick and his parents at the party. So from everything that we have learned, they are saying that the Rhiners were killed anywhere between late Saturday evening into early Sunday morning. Now we do know that Nick checked himself into a hotel around four am Sunday morning, so Saturday night into Sunday morning, if that makes sense, And I guess nobody was alerted right away. But the next day when they went to clean his room, services room whatever, they found a sheet over the window, and there was a lot of blood in the shower and like on the bed. I guess, I don't even know. So that's kind of everything that we know as of right now. Of course, there are things that are going to be coming out. Rob and Michelle were both stabbed, which is such a personal type of attack. I don't really know what else to say about it other than it is so sad and tragic, and I truly hope that they didn't know what was happening to them, although I just don't think that that's a possibility in a death that is so brutal like that. But I did want to touch on it because I very much follow the pop culture of it all. I follow Hollywood, I always have, and when that and true crime intersect, I have to talk about it. So I will keep you guys updated. I think Nick is going to be due in court soon, and Karen Reid's trial attorney, Alan Jackson is actually going to be representing him, which is again another layer of it all. And Yeah, this one really really really bothers me, not that any crime doesn't bother me, but this one is just so different because Rob was almost eighty years old and his wife was sixty I think sixty eight, sixty nine years old. She was almost seventy, and it's just so sad that one of their kids is the one who's responsible for this allegedly, and I know that they've all had a very complicated relationship. There was even a film made that was based a lot on Nick's experiences with addiction on Homelessness, although it wasn't a one hundred percent factual, They based a lot of what they went through as a family with the addiction on this film. So it's all just really sad and tragic at the end of the day. And I you know, there's going to be things that are going to keep on coming out, and I will be sure to keep you guys updated. But sending prayers to the rest of the Reiner family because they are definitely going to need them in the coming weeks, months, and probably for the rest of time, honestly. Okay, update on the David case with Celeste Revas Hernandez. So we've talked about it here on the pod before. David is a TikTok singer, rapper of sorts and became very very famous. He started releasing music on TikTok and just kind of shot up in popularity, and he began dating Celeste she was very young, and then Celeste was found deceased in a tesla and the tesla was tied to him, so on and so forth. I've talked about it on here in the past and we are closely following it. And David has official been considered a suspect, although he is not currently incarcerated. He has not been charged with anything but it is now coming out that they have found an incinerator at his house, the house that he formerly lived at. I don't know why a person would have an incinerator unless they had an actual reason to have one. I do not have any idea what this is about. And I also don't have any idea why he has not been arrested yet. But I am putting my faith in law enforcement and in the investigation and hoping that they are doing everything they can to make sure that they do get the right person, and that they are crossing their t's and dotting their eyes and making sure that if they bring charges that they will stick. So that is kind of where we stand. But that was a really odd headline to me, and I just thought, why would you have an incinerator? What is your purpose for having that? Where do you get an incinerator? Why? I don't understand. And to piggyback off of that one to another. Finally, John Paul Miller, a strange husband of Micah Miller who was found deceased. They say that it was suicide. JP is the guy that got up in front of his church congregation and talked about how his wife had just died and basically shamed her publicly in front of his church congregation and was a awful human in my opinion. So they have officially indicted him on one count of cyber stalking and one count of lying to federal investigators. So he was served divorce papers two days before Micah was found dead from a gunshot wound in North Carolina Park. Authorities, like I said, ruled to her death suicide, but investigators found a massive paper trail of evidence that documenting physical, emotional, sexual, medical, and spiritual abuse of Micah by JP up until her death. I'm not shocked. I'm not surprised. I knew this was going to happen. I knew that it was probably going to take them time to again cross all their te's and dot all their eyes, but they finally got him. They didn't get him for murder by any means, but they certainly have him for something, and that is at least a little bit of justice because JP Miller, in my opinion, is the lowest of the low and a really sick human being. So I'm really glad to hear this. I will keep you updated as more starts to come out, but we are going to go ahead and wrap up our right now in true crime, and we're going to get into today's episode. All right, guys, today's episode is going to be a little different. I'm going to be telling you about four women. All of them were victims, all killed allegedly the same person, and that person remains unidentified. This person is now known as the east Bound Strangler. He's thought to be responsible for at least four deaths near Atlantic City, New Jersey. They all had two things in common. All were women, and all had dabbled in sects work at some point in time. They would all be found at the same time on November twenty, two thousand and six, in a drainage dish filled with shallow water. They were all found behind the Golden Key Motel in Egg Harbor Township in Atlantic City, New Jersey. They were lined up face down, six feet apart. All were fully clothed, minus having their socks and shoes removed. It appears they had all been strangled to death. This case, unfortunately, is one with way more questions than answers. But I want to go ahead and take some time to talk about the four lives that were taken. Let's talk about each of them individual because talking about their lives and who they were as people before they met their tragic ending matters, and finding who did this to them also matters. Molly Jene Dilts was the first to be killed, according to investigators, and had been in the ditch as long as six weeks, so it is super important to note that although all of these women were found at the same time, they all did not lose their lives at the same time. So the monster who did this was essentially using this area as his dumping ground, which also is kind of what we saw in the Long Island serial killer case and Rex Huerman. He killed many women and dumped them along the same area in Gilgo Beach. Let's talk a little about Molly Dilts now. Molly Jene Dilts was only twenty years old when her life was stolen. She had unfortunately dropped out of high school at a pretty young age. She was in some type of special education classes in school and was described as a loner by those who knew her in high school. She lost her mom when she was only fifteen, and according to those that knew her, that is when her downward spiral began. She also lost her aunt that same week that she lost her mom, and she also would later lose her stepbrother, who passed away after being shot. She had a lot of trauma seemingly happened to her all at once. She was born and raised in black Lick, Pennsylvania, which at one point was a booming coal mining town. At the time of her death, she had an eighteen month old son, with whom she did not have custody of as he was living with some family. She was living with her boyfriend, Jeremy Clawson in black Lick, Pennsylvania. The town was so small that even though people didn't really know Molly very well, everybody knew of Mollie. She was described as a sweet girl, but definitely had her struggles. She had a son that she was actively raising, she had a warrant for drug possession, and she had no active income. In late two thousand and five, Mollie supposedly drove her car into a male friend after she had an altercation with him, and she was hit with a few charges, including aggravated assault and public intoxication, but she had went ahead and agreed to enter a rehab program. In early two thousand and six, her and her boyfriend were living above a restaurant space, and both of them had jobs at Pizza Hut, so they were actively bringing in an income, but two weeks later they suddenly left. In March of two thousand and six, Mollie was arrested again for possession of drug paraphernalia. Somewhere along the line, Mollie must have gotten involved in sex work, and this is, unfortunately what happens a lot young people who are having a really hard time navigating life. They're having a hard time holding down a steady job, they have different charges that are being thrown at them, they're involved in drugs, they might be hanging out with the wrong people. They do, unfortunately, get lumped into sex work, and that can be a very dangerous thing in someone's life, and especially for somebody like Mollie who did have some special needs and she might not have been as emotionally intelligent as her peers. It makes her very very susceptible to people who are out for nefarious reasons to do bad things to her. The last contact that Molly had with family was on October seventh of two thousand and six, just two weeks later. Mollie would be deceased. Now when she was found her body was pretty badly decomposed, so they weren't even able to officially determine her cause of death. And Mollie's story, like all of these stories, it really saddens me because she obviously had some developmental delays. Like I said earlier, she took special needs classes, and her mom passed away when she was fifteen years old. So this leads me to believe that any structure and normalcy that Mollie had went out the window when her mom died and then her aunt died just a few days later. And I don't know the circumstances surrounding her mom and aunt's death, but doesn't really matter because still, to experience something like that at fifteen years old has to be so traumatizing for somebody that's already at risk because they have some developmental delays. I very much think that Mollie was searching for someone to take care of her, and unfortunately, not everybody has the best of intentions. We may never know what led her to meet this horrible person that she came into contact with that ultimately took her life, but one thing here is very clear, and that whoever did this is an evil human Mollie was only twenty years old. She was innocent. She was trying to navigate her life, and this person took her life and then threw her behind the Cedy Motel and left her there. And he wasn't done yet because he still had three more victims that were going to unfortunately come into contact with him. Our next victim is Barbara Breeder. She was born on June fifth of nineteen sixty four in Meadowbrook, Pennsylvania. She was the oldest of four children. Her father was a school counselor and her mom was a homemaker. Her parents also owned a jewelry store in Ocean Mile Mall, and she helped them manage it as she got older. All four kids attended Catholic school. Barbara's dad passed away when she was a senior in high school, and Barbara was the oldest of her siblings, so she was the one that everyone looked up to. And Barbara was also the type of girl that is described as knowing a lot about everything, and she was the person that you would go to during trivia because she just knew everything. She graduated from high school and attended Penn State for two years. She then decided she wanted to move to New Jersey, so in the late eighties, that's exactly what she did. She moved to Atlantic City, New Jersey, and she started to work as a cocktail waitress at Tropicana Casino and Resort. And it was there that she met a man named Stanley Frizzle and they ended up having a daughter together in nineteen ninety seven. Now, both Barbara and Stanley, unfortunately both struggled with addiction. Barbara's addiction began slowly with pain pills, which she would use because she had really bad mentoral cramps. Now these pills that she started taking were pills from stanley stash that he had due to back surgery. Soon that addiction turned into her hair addiction for Barbara when the doctor cut off the pain medicine prescriptions. This led her down a destructive path in life. Four years after their daughter was born, they were in no shape to take care of their daughter. She went and stayed with family. Barbara and Stanley stayed together until two thousand and two. Stanley ended up being arrested on robbery and dug charges and was in prison for about a year. And while he was in prison over this year, Barbara struggled with addiction and began to solicit herself for sex as a means to make money to pay for her drugs. She also had a arrest for solicitation as well. She was reported missing by her cousin in October of two thousand and six. Her cousin very much grew concerned when she hadn't heard from Barbara because they were in touch regularly. Her body, very much like Molly's, was very badly decomposed, and they were not to determine her cause of death, but they did rule it a homicide. Barbara was only forty two years old. She was a mom, a daughter, a sister, and a friend. She was more than how her life ended. Addiction caused a lot of struggles in her life and unfortunately led to her going down some not so great paths. But her life was stolen by someone, and that person needs to be off the streets because we are only two people in and this horrific monster still has two more victims, at least that we know of. Tracy Ann Roberts was only twenty three years old when her life was cut short. She was the next one to lose her life. Investigators determined that she had died up to a week before the bodies were found. Her cause of death was ruled as asphyxiation, possibly via strangulation. Tracy grew up in Delaware in a city called Bear. Tracy was very very active growing up. She played volleyball, She enjoyed riding her bike, roller skating, and hanging out with her friends. She loved being around her friends. Her mom even said that one of the main reasons she even joined volleyball was so she could hang out with friends, so she was very focused on her friend group. She attended Christiana High School and all was well until the age of fourteen, and around that time is when she started to experiment with alcohol and drugs. When she was sixteen, she dropped out of school. She eventually would go on to find a job as a telemarketer and she began dating a coworker. She ended up having a baby at eighteen years old, and it was a baby girl. She enrolled in a trade school to become a medical assistant at a local medical office in Bear, Delaware, and she was able to receive some housing assistants and she purchased a town home in January of two thousand and two, Tracy's daughter and her boyfriend went ahead and moved in there with her. The doctor she had worked for would later move away, and Tracy again was unemployed. She couldn't make payments on her town home and the house ended up being foreclosed on. Her and her boyfriend would then split up. And it was around this time obviously Tracy was going through a lot, losing her home, losing her job, losing her boyfriend, she started to heavily use cocaine. She left home and moved away from Delaware and lived in Pennsylvania and also Atlantic City. She would talk to her mom often, but visits would become less frequent, and she did not like to talk about her life in Atlantic City. It was very much a secret. She had unfortunately gotten into prostitution as a means to make money, and was well known by other local prostitutes. She very much became a loner and liked to keep to herself, which was so different from the girl that used to love being surrounded by her friends. She called her mom from the Atlantic City Medical Center on November eighth of two thousand and six, and she asked her mom to come get her. She explained to her mom that her John had beaten her up, and she decided she wanted to come home. She wanted to try to get her life together. Her mom drove an hour and a half to go get her daughter, but unfortunately she was too late. Tracy had decided not to wait around for her mom after all, and decided to check herself out of the hospital and went back on the streets with two unidentified men who were likely taking advantage of her weakened mental state after being beaten up by some piece of shit. Her body would be found less than two weeks later. And this one, I mean, they're all so sad, but this cycle is just so sad the way it progressed so quickly, and even in the end, when she decided she wanted to get help and wanted to get out, she was taken advantage of one final time and convinced to go back on the streets, where she ultimately met the person who took her life. Now, like I said, the men that she was last seen with were unidentified. I don't know if they are people that Tracy knew she had had dealings with in the past, if they were associates of the John. There are a lot of questions here that I think if we knew their identities could possibly help investigators figure out who this person is that did this, because they very well could be associated with this person. And there's also no saying that the person that did this is a singular person. It could be two people, it could be, unfortunately a group of people. We saw this in the Jennings eight case that I also covered, which is very very similar to this. It happened in Jennings, Louisiana. Eight different bodies were found. Most of the women were involved in sex work. They all had different connections to each other, and there was a very tangled web happening in Jennings in the sex trade, and I wouldn't be surprised if the same thing was going on in Atlantic City as well. Our last and final victim is Kim Raffo. She was the first one found but determined to be the last one who was killed. Kim was thirty five years old when she lost her life, and her story is just as tragic as all of the others, especially because she seemingly had a wonderful life until an extramarital fair and a drug addiction entered her life. Kim was born in nineteen seventy one, two teenage parents. She also had a younger sister. Her mom and dad both had addiction issues and split in nineteen eighty eight. Her mom ended up moving to Florida with Marie, who was Kim's younger sister. Kim and her boyfriend followed shortly after that. They got married and had two kids, a boy in nineteen ninety two and a girl in nineteen ninety four. They bought a house and settled into life in Fort Lauderdale, Florida in nineteen ninety six. Kim was an amazing mom and did everything she could for her family. She even managed to get her parents to sit down and have a family mail of Thanksgiving and be cordial, something that hadn't happened since they divorced in the late eighties. Kim was very much that mom that went above and beyond for her kids, planning birthday parties, being the person that was always at her kids' school, helping with activities and volunteering. She was that person. Everything changed in two thousand and one when Kim enrolled in a culinary arts program and met a man named Kenneth who she began having an affair with. It was this man Kenny, who would introduce Kim to crack cocaine. The addiction started to take over her life. Her husband would end up going on to find out about the affair, and at one point even attacked Kenny with a baseball bat at a stoplight, which I really try not to support violence here on this podcast, but in this case, I do understand he was obviously heated. This man was having an affair with his wife. I too would probably be heated, so I really can't hold that against him. So Kim and her husband would separate and he moved himself and the children to Ocean City, New Jersey. Kim very much wanted to be in close proximity to her kids, so she also decided that she was going to move and she decided to settle in Atlantic City, New Jersey, with none other than Kenny, Kenneth whatever we're calling him. She went there with him. Now, there was eventually another fight between Kim's husband and Kenny, and the children were taken and placed in foster care as a result of this. I assume it was pretty tumultuous. There was a lot going on, and the kids were seemingly safer away from this type of situation. So as a result of all of this, Kim's husband ended up leaving and going back to Florida soon after this altercation transpired. Kim was able to hold down random waitressing jobs here and there, but unfortunately the drug addiction led to the next thing, which was sex work and ultimately led to her death. She did sober up briefly, but eventually returned to Atlantic City in two thousand and six, shortly before she lost her life. It was just one of those things where she could not get a handle on the addiction and ultimately ended up going back to the place that would unfortunately steal her life away from her. On November twentieth of two thousand and six, there were two women walking behind the motel and they spotted the body of Kim Raffo, and they immediately called the cops. Like I said, they were all found face down, their heads were all turned the same way to the east. They were fully clothed minus the shoes and socks. They believed the women all met their killer in Atlantic City's Red light district and whoever did this lured them away from Atlantic City two Way Harbor, where they were killed and disposed of. Kim Raffo's cause of death was also found to be exphyxiation, according to an A and ETV article. Due to the position of the bodies, the unknown serial killer became known as the Eastbound strangler case because he very much anchored the bodies to the side of a ditch using their feet. He tried his best for as long as he could to keep them from being seen, and he pretty much was successful at this because over the timeframe of these murders being committed, he was able to place four bodies there before they were discovered. So what happened in this investigation, let's talk about all of that now. There was a man named James Terry Olsen and he was a repairman that was allowed to stay at the Golden Chyotel in exchange for repairs at the time that these four women were murdered. His girlfriend actually implicated him as a suspect, and investigators once they went into his room, they did find cameras set up in his room and there were images of his girlfriend's teenage daughter undressing, which is sick and disgusting. But at this point there have been no DNA matches from the murders to him, and he was never officially named a suspect. It suspected that his girlfriend was upset with him, and that is the reason that she went ahead and implicated him. And it kind of makes sense in a way because he obviously seems like he's a creep and his girlfriend is probably upset with him because he was a predator and had pictures of her teenage daughter in his room and he had creepy camera set up. He's obviously not an angel, but that also doesn't mean that he's a killer at the same time. But I think it's interesting because he was staying at the motel at the same time that the bodies were found, and he did some repairs around the motel. And I think, my own personal opinion, I think whoever did this was very familiar and very comfortable with the area that he was dumping these bodies. So I don't think it was a one off where one day somebody went out and killed somebody and then just decided, I'm going to dump the bodies behind this motel that I have zero connection to and I've never been to before. He probably was very familiar. He knew it was kind of out of sight, and that is why he decided that that that was going to be essentially his dumping grounds. Exact same thing with Gilgo Beach. We see this with Rex Chuerman. It's probably all going to come out in trial when that eventually happens. But Rex was very familiar with where he was dumping these women. He was very familiar with tides, and he was comfortable at Gilgo Beach because he had lived there his whole life. He was very familiar with it. He didn't just pick it randomly. It was purposeful and that's because he was familiar and comfortable with it. And I think it's the same thing here, but again that is just my opinion. There was also a man named Eldred Raymond Burchell who went by the nickname Riverman, and this individual was also suspected after he confessed to another prostitute that he had killed people somewhere along the line. Now, there was no evidence that he was involved and he has never been connected to the four murders. There is a man named Charles Holes who was a drug dealer and a friend of Kim Raffos. He was questioned by police but was released without any charges. There was also a man named Mark Hesse who was an acquaintance of Kim Raffo and Barbara Brider, but again, there was nothing that really tied this individual to the murders. These were all people that just they kind of had in common, they were familiar with. But there's been nothing that has tied any of these people to the quadruple homicide. And let's go ahead and talk about it. The elephant in the room. Are these murders related to the Long Island serial killer case. It was checked out in twenty ten, and of course it was ruled out because back then in twenty ten, we didn't really know all that we know now about the Long Island serial killer, Gilgo Beach. We didn't know half of what we know now. It was revisited again in twenty twenty three once rex Humerman was arrested, and it has been said that there is no connection between rex Humormen and these four women, although there is a lot of similarities as far as the population that was targeted, primarily sex workers, and again having four bodies show up in one area very odd, very reminiscent of exactly what Rex did. Although rexes span over a longer period of time, it is very interesting that they are in very close proximity Long Island and Atlantic City. That's not a drastic distance between the two, so I'm glad that they did revisit it once they found out who was responsible for the Gilgo Beach murders and officially identified as the Long Island serial killer. Now, I have not been able to find any confirmation that there is DNA in this case, but I would imagine there is because they did say that they checked DNA to one of the initial suspects, the one who was implicated by his girlfriend, and that it was not a match. So I assume that there is some type of DNA evidence in these four cases, at least that link them together, so that way they are able to say that this was one killer versus several killers just randomly deciding to dump bodies behind this random hotel. I really think in this one, I think it is solvable. I think they have to go back to square one and they need to talk to every single sex worker that was familiar with these four women. They might have all had different people that they interacted with on a daily basis. They need to go back and talk to every single person and see if there's anything that stands out. They need to go back and reinterview. They need to go back over their notes. They have to go back to square one and try to do one thing at a time, eliminate these people as people of interest or suspects. Did these women have a john in common? Was it somebody that they were all running with at one point in time and got upset with them for one reason or another, decided we don't really have use for you anymore, and then decided they were going to kill them. That is something that I feel like would be really really easy to just check off the list if there is no connection. But they have to go back to square one and start questioning everybody that these women knew, because there were prostitutes at the time who were familiar with these women. And there might just be something in the case file that didn't really make any sense into and six but makes sense now. And if there is DNA evidence. I say it on every episode. Technology is catching up. Time is running out for these predators who run around and act like they're invincible and can get away with anything. Time is running out. It's almost twenty years since these four homicides occurred. It'll be twenty years in twenty twenty six, which is coming right up, and twenty years is far too long for not having answers for these four women. I hear a lot of victim blaming when it comes to cases like this, where women are involved in sex work, or they are heavily using drugs, they're involved with some not so great people, but unfortunately that happens. Sometimes people go off the path for their life and they might not make the best decisions. But what these women did with their lives does not mean that they deserve to have their life taken. We need to shift the focus onto You shouldn't be going around and killing women because they are in a trade like sex work, because you think that it's easier to kill them and nobody will care. They were all loved, they all had families, all of them had kids. Everybody cared about these women, and they unfortunately met at ending that they did not deserve. I very much like to try to flip the narrative because I do hear a lot of the times, a lot of negative talk, not necessarily in the true crime community, but from people on the outside who judge and look at people as less than because of the path that their life took. And that's not what we need to be focusing on here. We need to focus on the fact that some individual or individuals felt that it was okay to take four lives for women's lives, for moms lives and get away with it. That is what we need to be infuriated about. That is what we need to be focusing on. That is my TED talk for today, and I will stand firm on that we don't victim blame here. We call out predators and their crappy behavior and hope that there is some accountability because that's exactly what needs to happen in this one. If there are any updates on this one, I will be sure to keep you guys updated. There is a twenty five thousand dollars reward that has been put up for information that will lead to the arrest and conviction of the monster who did this. It might be something as simple as having heard something on the streets and thinking maybe it can be connected. You never know if you have something deep inside that you have overheard over the last almost twenty years, and you might know something that could crack this case wide open.
