I am going to try my best to get through this right now and True Crime. I don't even know what is going on with me. I started having like shortness of breath, heart racing, heart palpitations on Sunday. Whent to the er. Literally everything's checked out. I'm still a little winded when I try to talk. So I'm gonna do my best to get through right now in True Crime. Luckily, I pre recorded the episode for today, so that was already done before any of this happened. I'm going to do my best, and I honestly don't know how things are going to look in the coming weeks. If I have to do some pod swaps with some of my podcasting gals, that's what I'm going to have to do. I'm going to try my best to do what I can. I do have two episodes pre recorded, this one and next week, so I'm at least on track for that. But it's really hard to talk at times because I feel very winded. So bear with me. I am doing my best. Okay. So first thing we have to talk about is this Rose Pedal murder trial, because things got wild today. Now I'm recording this on Wednesday, and things are getting insane, things are wild. So essentially, Zachary Hughes said that he was going to testify, but if he testified, he wanted to bring up the reason why he murdered Christina. And the whole reason that he's saying he did this is because of the child abuse claims, which have been substantiated as fact. It's not just claims anymore. But when the trial initially started, they said that none of the sexual child abuse stuff was going to be allowed in. So this is a whole like hot mess disaster. So he gets up on the standaday and he's just letting it all out like I did it because of X, Y and Z, and it's very much like vigiliante justice, like not okay, Like, it's never okay to murder somebody. We've talked about that before. It's not okay. Obviously she was doing some really bad, bad, bad things, horrible things, horrific things, but it's never okay to just go into someone's house and murder them, regardless of why you're doing it, right, So this is where things get messy. So in his testimony, he pretty much implicates that John Mellow, who is Christina's ex boyfriend and father of the daughter that him and Christina shared together, basically like propositioned him to murder Christina. So after that they take him off of the stand, and then they arrest John Mellow for being connected to this whole thing, which, honestly, I'm shocked he wasn't arrested before today, but as of today he is arrested and his arrayment is later. I'm so overwhelmed. So then they said that they're going to hold Zachary Hughes in contempt, and who knows what's going to happen with the trial. Honestly, it's probably gonna have to be a mistrial because of everything that's transpired and happened. They said that the sexual abuse claims were not supposed to be put out there, and here they are being put out there, and he was basically Zach was saying, the state is hiding this from you, that there were these sexual abuse child sexual abuse claims. It is a hot mess, disaster. I'm going to keep you guys updated. Like I said, I'm recording this on Wednesday. Stay tuned to social media. Gigi from Pretty Lies and Alibi. The judge officially ruled today that he's not going to allow all of the motions that Brian Coberger's defense had brought up about dismissing the genetic genealogy and all of that. He is going to allow all of that to come in because it is such an important part of the trial and I'm so glad that he sat on it and looked at the evidence and made the right decision. Kaylee's family off officially announced today that he came back and he's gonna stick to his guns and we're gonna get to hear all of the evidence, which is exactly what needs to happen. So I'm going to keep you guys updated on that that's going a trial later this year. It's going to be a big one, so stay tuned for that. Okay, we have news in Asia Degrees case, so I've shared with you the latest updates from the last time there was updates. More is coming out. So I'm gonna just read through this article because it's helpful to me at this point in time just to read something instead of trying to put it into my own words and describe what's going on, because my brain isn't actually working at full capacity at the moment. So this article is from WBTV dot com giving them full credit and it basically this is a headline new Asia Degree warns text Messa revealed, possible admission of fault and more. Law enforcement believe a Cleveland County man and two of his daughters may have interfered with the investigation into the February two thousand disappearance of Asia Degree. According to recent search warrants, more than twenty five years ago, the nine year old Ashia Degree what missing from her home in Shelby, North Carolina. Law enforcement, local, state, and federal have continued to investigate Degrees case in the decades since. In September of twenty twenty four, the Sheriff's office and FBI carried out search warrants due to believe connection between degrees disappearance and a Cleveland County family that is the dead Men's and then it goes into the Deadman family. Roy Deadman, his wife Connie, and their three daughters, Anna, Lee, Lizzie, and Sarah. In September of twenty twenty four, authorities said for the first time that they believe Degree was killed. Investigators believe the Deadman daughters may have played a role in degrees possible homicide. The family has maintained that they are in no way connected to her disappearance. WBTV obtained three search warrants on Tuesday, February eighteenth related to Asia's case. The latest warrants, executed on February thirteenth, hone in on daughter Lizzie Foster and Sarah Deadman Caple. Here's a look at the latest search warrants. What they say so Mann said he heard girl admit fault. Lizzie Foster, then known as Lizzie Deadman, was sixteen years old when as Shaw went missing in two thousand. Sarah, then known as Sarah Deadman, was fifteen years old in two thousand. The week after law enforcement searched the Deadman properties in September of twenty four, a man went to the Sheriff's office for an interview with investigators. He said that he occasionally went to bars and house parties with the three dead Men girls in the mid two thousands. The man told officers that one time he was at a house party with Foster and Deadman Caple. The man said he saw Foster was visibly upset and intoxicated. He said, at that point, Foster said I killed h Degree. The man reported that Deadman Cape then became stern and told Foster to shut the f up. The man told investigators that Deadman Caple's behavior caught him off guard that night, since he had normally seen her be calm and nice. Later, the man told investigators that he was confident in his memory and that he was one hundred percent positive of those moments. The man was later given a polygraph test based on the information provided, although polygraph results are not admissible in the state of North Carolina. The man was said to have passed. So we have a lot going on here. There is so much going on in search Warrens from February thirteenth, Investigators with the Cleveland County Sheriff's Office say they believe there's evidence to indicate that Foster Deadman Capele and Roy Deadman engage an obstruction of justice in connection with degrees disappearance. It did not appear that the two women or their father had been arrested or charged with any such crime as of February eighteenth, So this is a lot. This is huge breaking. Obviously, it's really sad and unfortunate. If something did happen, if it was accidental, something bad happened, we don't really know yet, But like I said, I'm going to stay on top of it. I'm trying to keep up with things as it's happening. It has been a crazy week in the true crime world, and it's been a crazy week in my world. So your girl is having a hard time keeping up because there's so much going on in fifty different avenues of my life. But I'm doing my best. So that is what's going on right now with Asia's case. Like I said, I'll keep you guys updated. Roy and Connie Deadman have been identified us as suspects in her case, and there's definitely going to be a lot more going on. A lot more is going to be coming out about these search warrants and text messages and different conversations because they're very much basically saying that, you know, there's a theory that one of the daughters did it, and then it was an accident and it was covered up. There's text messages back and forth, back and forth and back and forth. I'm not gonna read through everything because there's a lot, but I'm gonna link this WBTV article in the show notes below so you guys can go read it for yourself because it is very intriguing. There's a lot of information in crystal story that has been compiled by her sister Jana and Jenna did a excellent job. I say that in the actual episode. There is so much information. I was honestly overwhelmed, and Jana did a fantastic job putting it all together. So there is so much there. I could have probably done a forty part series on all of this information. But the gist of it is in the episode, and at the end of the day, we need this case, Crystal's case, to be reinvestigated, relooked into with a fresh set of eyes. So I hope you guys enjoy today's episode. Alrighty guys, today we are jumping in to a brand new unsolved case. The case I'm going to be telling you about today. It desperately needs our attention. I was contacted by Crystal's sister, who we're going to speak about. Her name is Jana, and she asked if I would be interested in looking into and covering her sister's case. She then sent me an article about it and I immediately clicked on it and one hundred percent on board or right off the bat. So one thing about this podcast is I'm never going to turn family down. If they reach out and they ask me to cover their loved one's case, I will do so. And I try to start my research and my work right away. Sometimes I get way in over my head, but I do the best I can, and I always try to do so with integrity, and I always want to go into things and approach it thinking about helping the investigation, bringing attention and not hindering anything. So this is really why I do the work that I do, and it's so important to bring awareness to these cases. So in today's episode, we are going to learn about Crystal, her life, her death, and why her sister is the driving force and is demanding that her death be reinvestigated, especially right now at a time where Ellen Greenberg's case, which was also ruled to suicide, was officially reopened after fourteen years. Crystal story is an important one to tell, So here we go. I do want to be clear before going on any more with the story that anyone discussed in this episode is innocent until proven guilty. But crystal story does deserve to be told, and if her sister Janna feels passionately about the misclassification of her death, then we need to be willing to discuss it ask questions of those that are supposed to thoroughly investigate situations like this. Jenna did an excellent job of taking it upon herself to gather a timeline and put things together that very much make me question the validity of the suicide ruling, which is the exact reason that I'm doing this episode. So today's episode is about Crystal McCrory Jones. She was born on May seventeenth of nineteen seventy nine in cross Att, Arkansas, to her parents, Janie mcgilton and Doyle McCrory. Crystal would eventually move to Louisiana, where she attended and graduated from Bachtroup High School in nineteen ninety seven. She then worked as a waitress while she raised her two sons. She was very ambitious and would later go on to become a licensed office representative for State Farm Insurance. She also co owned a martial arts studio called Inner Peace Martial Arts with her husband, Tony, who she had been married to for five years. She was also a stepmom, which is a role that she took very seriously. Crystal was a helper by nature and would always go out of her way to help people if they needed it. She was just that kind of person. She's described as thoughtful and kind and the kind of person that would buy you just because gifts. She truly seemed like she was just the best. She loved a party, plan and decorate, which are two things that I very much connected with and relate to because I am also that same person. She had two grown sons, and her youngest son was in the Navy. She was very proud of being a Navy mom and would tell anybody any chance she got. Crystal lived in a small town called Oak Grove, Louisiana, and had recently received the news that her oldest son was going to be becoming a father, So that means that Crystal was going to be a grandmother, and I know that she was very much looking forward to being a grandmother and looking forward to her future. So now we're going to discuss the circumstances leading up to Crystal's death. Her death and the very quick investigation and suicide ruling that followed is the whole reason we're doing this episode. I'm going to be referencing West Carroll Parish a lot in this episode. And if you remember, back when I covered the three part series on the Jennings eight, we talked about the Jeff Davis Parish and it's a very similar concept, small town sheriff's office, and honestly, looking from the outside in, in my opinion, there's definitely a good boy type of system that is going on in Louisiana. I am not the only one saying it. I have personally heard from people that have lived in Louisiana, have maybe been incarcerated in Louisiana, and they are also saying these exact same things. So we are now going to go ahead and get in to talk about the day that Crystal lost her life. So it was Thursday, February ninth of twenty twenty three, a regular average day, but for Crystal's family, it became the day that their lives changed forever and the fight for justice began. So on this particular day, Crystal woke up and she wasn't really feeling very well. She had went ahead and scheduled a doctor's appointment for later in that afternoon because she wasn't feeling well, but she never showed up to that appointment. So Crystal's husband, Tony had attempted to call and text her multiple times throughout the day to no avail. So he went ahead and contacted the East Carol Medical Clinic, which is where she was set to have her appointment, and it was then that he found out that Crystal was a no show for her appointment. He then attempted to contact her a few more times and didn't get an answer, so he called the West Carol Parish Sheriff's office and Deputy Chuck Harris went over to the Jones residence to do a welfare check. Tony was concerned at this point because he could not get a hold of Crystal. Now, I do want to have a little side note here, Tony Jones had worked for the West Carol Parish Sheriff's Office prior. Although he wasn't an active employee at the time of Crystal's death, he was a reserve officer, so he did know a lot of people within the department. Is this important? Is this a conflict of interest? I'm going to let you make up your own mind once you hear the whole story, but I did just want to include that because I think it's important here. So back to our story. So, Deputy Chuck Harris arrives at the Jones home and he sees that Crystal's car is in the driveway. He knocked on the door, but there was answer. So he calls Tony and tells Tony what's going on her cars in the driveway. Nobody's answering, So Tony told him that the door was unlocked and that he could go ahead and go inside. So once he's inside, Tony proceeds to give him directions to the master bedroom and it was there that Chuck Harris found Crystal deceased in her bed. Now, this was around four forty PM. Chuck was on the phone with Tony the entire time. Crime scene photos show that Crystal was found, like I said in bed, she had a pillow close to her face with a gun shot through the pillow and the gun still in her hand. The gun had not chambered to the next round. An investigator said that this often happens by something called a limp wrist situation, where the shooter fires the weapon with one hand and the weapon doesn't have enough stability to eject the spent shell casing it will be discovered by the family that investigators. Despite the fact that they searched the premises and searched the room where Crystal was found, they did not find the spent shell casing. That day, upon hearing the news that something had happened to Crystal, Janna arrived at the house and she said there was emergency vehicles, a coroner van, there was crime scene tape around the house, and there were other members of Tony's family all kind of standing outside, just kind of waiting. Tony approached Jana and said it was a single gunshot wound to the head, and at this point they had already kind of decided that it was a suicide. Despite never testing Crystal's hands for any gunshot residue, they didn't ask questions some neighbors or anyone that might have seen or interacted with Crystal on that day. Jana stood there and I'm sure she was in absolute disbelief as to what was happening around her. Jana said that she witnessed multiple members of law enforcement and detective speaking with Tony and members of his family. They were very much on a first dame basis. Not once did anyone in law enforcement approach her ask who she was, ask her relation to Crystal, not a single one. Within an hour and forty minutes after Crystal's body was found, it was ruled a suicide, before Crystal's body had an autopsy, ran, before the crime scene was properly analyzed, before the coroner had access to her body. It was open and shot that this was self inflicted and the crime scene wasn't necessarily secured either. There were just under forty photos taken at the scene, and the family dog was present and on the bed next to Crystal's body for mostly all of it. Not exactly a secure scene. You can definitely see the dog in the crime scene photos. Now, given the fact that they have already kind of decided that this was a suicide, they bring Tony in for an interview, and he was interviewed by the same Sheriff's office that he used to work for. The whole interview took seven minutes, and at the beginning of the interview they stated that they are interviewing him in regards to a single gunshot wound to the head of Crystal Jones. So, like I said, the ruling that this was a suicide happened very very quickly. So Tony said that that day he had left for work, he ran some errands. He ended up going to work and then got his daughter from school and went to Sonic. After he had made several attempts to reach Crystal to no avail, That's when he decided to call and check to see if she had gone to her appointment. And once he got confirmation that she didn't go to the appointment, is when he called for the welfare check. Now, very interestingly enough to note, Tony wasn't far from home at all during this time. He was only fourteen minutes away and easily could have gone on home himself to check on Crystal if he was worried she wasn't feeling well, maybe she had overslept, maybe she didn't feel well enough to go to the appointment. There are so many other plausible explanations for why she wasn't answering her phone or why she didn't go to her appointment. And he was only fourteen minutes away, so if he was worried, he could have just gone to the house to check on her. It just doesn't make any sense. Why are you calling for a welfare check? It doesn't make sense. So earlier, like I said, the crime scene was semi secured, so to say, and scoured over by multiple different people. Crime scene photos were taken. But on February sixteenth, nine days after the fact, Tony found the missing shellcasing in the bedroom. Now, like I said, this bedroom was small and it had been scoured over by investigators, so how did they miss this? The shellcasing was found on a makeup table that was in the bedroom by some of the hair tools that Crystal used to style her hair. So we're going to go back to the crime scene photos. And you obviously think if the shellcasing was where Tony found it, then it has to be in the crime scene photos. So you go back to the crime scene photos. Investigators swear that it's there, it was just simply missed. But I can attest to the fact that that shellcasing is not in the pictures despite what they say. I've looked and I've looked trying to see where they say it is, and it's just simply not there. So you can't make up the fact that the shellcasing was in the photos when obviously it's not in the photos. And this is just the start of discrepancies in the story and with Crystal's case, and if nothing else, we need to be asking questions about these things, because I think if anyone was in this situation, it was your mother, your daughter, your sister, you would be asking questions as well. There were a few things that very much stuck out to me that make me question everything, and one of them is the autopsy report. Crystal's name on the autopsy report was spelled wrong in multiple different places. It was spelled Cchrystl instead of Crystal Crystl, which is how Crystal spelled her name. They also had her birthday wrong, her hair color wrong, some of her They had medical issues listed that she did not have. Now, it's human error. This easily could have been an oversight, but it is an official document, and in my opinion, it's super important to get details such as the spelling of a name and date of birth correct on an official report that has to do with cause of death. It just doesn't make any sense to me. The parish coroner also ended up crossing out and changing the time of death from ten thirty five am to five oh five pm with no explanation. The time, like I said, was scribbled out and changed. Now the five oh five pm was closer to the time that Crystal's body was found, but why would they do this and with no explanation as to the reasoning of why they modified an official document with no explanation. Also important to note that the time of death on crystal Dust certificate was listed at eleven am, so in my opinion, this makes things even look more suspicious, and the fact that the coroner's office wasn't questioned on this makes me question it even more. Who made this call, who made the changes, and better question why did they do it now? There was also some evident bruising that was on Crystal's body that had to have happened prior to her death, and there was no mention of this bruising at all. In the autopsy report, it's in the photos from the crime scene, those photos that they took there when they first went in and assessed the crime scene. So it makes me want a question. Was there a fight? Was there a struggle? This never was investigated because her death was very quickly ruled as a suicide. Crystal also had a broken nail, one broken nail amongst her perfectly manicured hands. Why why was her nail broken? Questions that need to be asked. The gun was also misidentified on the ballistics report. Simple things like this that shouldn't have been overlooked, So it very much begs the question, if they got such simple things wrong, what else did they get wrong? These are the questions that we are here to ask. So shortly after Crystal's death, Tony went to claim what he believed was a sixty three thousand dollars group life insurance policy from State Farm, where Crystal was employed. But since Crystal had only recently started working there, her supervisor had never added her to the policy, so when Tony went to collect it, her supervisor said, I never added her to it, so there's not going to be anything to pay out, and he would go back later bringing some of Crystal's things that she had from the office and some of her state farm work attire shirts, and he tried again and he got the exact same answer. Crystal was never added to the policy. So, with everything else going on, the circumstances surrounding Crystal's death really didn't sit right with Crystal's family, so the family went ahead and hired a private investigator to try to get down to the bottom of things. So the private investigator talked to one of Crystal's coworkers, and this particular coworker had said that Crystal had confided in her that she was struggling with depression and that she was even heavily medicated for it, or had been heavily medicated for it. Cristel said that she didn't like the way that the medicine made her feel, and there were some days that she felt sick enough that she couldn't get out of bed and that she had to call out of work because she didn't feel well enough. She said that although she was sad, she wasn't struggling with any suicidal thoughts, but she said she was very overwhelmed and struggling in many aspects of her life. And confided in this coworker that one of those aspects was her marriage. Her coworker firmly believes that if Cristel was struggling with any suicidal ideation, that she would have opened up about it, because Cristel was very very open about her struggles with her coworker, and honestly, two things can be true at once. Crystal could have been actively struggling with depression and not have been suicidal. Two things can be true at once. The coworker also stated that Crystal had confided in her, like I said, about some marital troubles, Tony was allegedly interested in the swinging lifestyle and this upset Crystal, which is a million percent understandable. The same worker had also dropped off some food for Tony shortly after Crystal passed away, and she said she just kind of got an uneasy feeling being in the house with him, and then after she left, on her way home, she received some very sexual and nature texts from him and it made her obviously super uncomfortable. She didn't think that he should be doing that, and she ended up deleting the messages because she didn't want her fiance to find them. She didn't quite know how to react, and it's definitely not the way that a grieving widow should react to somebody that's trying to help them during a very trying time of losing your spouse. So what does all of this mean? So Jana did everything she could to try to make sense of it all. She was able to get access to Crystal's laptop and after a few failed attempts, she was able to log into the laptop. So once she's in the laptop, she realized that Crystal was logged into Tony's Google account, basically giving Jenna an inside look into a lot of different things that were going on in Tony and Crystal's marriage. She discovered that Crystal had been tracking Tony's movements in the week leading up to her death. She obviously had some suspicions about what he may be up to, so she had gotten into his account and was logged in his Google location services were turned on, which now meant that Jenna had the exact movements of Tony on the day that Crystal lost her life. And I'll go ahead and tell you spoiler alert, there are some discrepancies in his story from that day and the Google data proves it, and it is laid out perfectly in the timeline that Janna put together. He also had made a search of when is the appropriate time to date after the death of a spouse four days four whole days after Crystal was found deceased in her bed in the house that they shared together. Crystal's remains were cremated eventually on February twentieth of twenty twenty three, against the wishes of Crystal's family. They did not want her to be cremated because with all of the questions surrounding the autopsy and the autopsy report, they wanted to get another autopsy. They wanted to have an independent autopsy report completed, but with the cremation happening, they weren't unable to do so. Jana, Crystal's sister, is a absolute warrior, and I truly believe that there is a ton of merit to what she is saying. The documents that she's pulled together, the timeline she's put together, it is impeccable and anyone that looks that them can quickly realize that this isn't all just a coincidence. And there is so much I mean, I could read through every little single thing and go over it all on this podcast. But I think what I have brought today is enough kind of head scratching questions that, if nothing else, this case needs to be reopened and looked into with a fresh set of eyes to really try to figure out what happened here, went wrong here and look at some of this evidence that Jenna has pulled together. So Jenna has now taken on the role of an advocate for Crystal, and her mission is to spread the word about Crystal's death and ask questions why was it so quickly ruled a suicide? Was this just simply a case of police not doing their due diligence or was it something more? That is exactly what we're asking here now. Jenna runs a Facebook group called Justice for Crystal McCrory Jones, and I will link that in the show notes below, And there was also an online petition to reopen Crystal's case. So I'm going to read what's on the petition. Lack of investigation led to suicide ruling. On February ninth, twenty twenty three, forty three year old Crystal McCrory Jones was found dead in her home of an apparent gunshot wound to the head in the small town of Oak Grove, Louisiana. Her husband, a former employee of the West Carrol Parish Sheriff's apartment who in investigated her death, was found to have changed his narrative of his whereabouts on the day of her death due to his close friendship with the investigating agency. Her death was immediately by the time of his recorded interview two hours after the body was found, ruled a suicide. The family was actively denied an unbiased investigation by the state police, and even after the shellcasing of the fatal bullet was found by her husband nine days after her death, her husband also had her body cremated against the wishes of the family, destroying any physical evidence, as very little was taken at the scene, her sister Janna obtained a laptop that belonged to her sister that has more incriminating evidence against her husband. When all of the evidence was taken to both the sheriff and the local DA, her sister Janna was lied to and blatantly called a liar. The family is currently working on getting Crystal's case reopened and we are hoping to have an actual investigation done to give our family closure as to what happened to her that day. We are hoping to achieve that with your help, in that you sign this petition and give our family a chance to get answers. Jana has also been working very hard to get billboards up in her sister's name again to spread awareness that Crystal's death needs to be looked into. If nothing else, at the end of the day, this case deserves a second look, an outside agency to investigate it thoroughly and with a fresh set of eyes. The last thing that we want, that I want, is of course, to accuse anyone of wrongdoing, but unfortunately we see it a lot. Human error happens. Sometimes it's a mistake and sometimes it's intentional. So we ask these questions and try to figure out what happened. I would want people to ask questions anytime they felt that the death of a loved one wasn't classified properly. I talked about it in the episode before last I believe where I was talking about right now in true crime because of the Ellen Greenberg case and all of that, we have the right to ask questions and to get to the bottom of what's going on. You would want the same for your loved one. Jane will not stop until justice for her sister prevails. Like I said, I'm going to be linking the Facebook group and the online petition below. Please take a minute to sign the petition, join the Facebook group, and join alongside Jana in the journey to get justice for her sister Crystal. At the end of the day, that's what we really want, and in situations like this, we need to get loud. We need to question, We need to get the story out there as much as possible to bring as much attention to Crystal's case as we can. Think about Ellen Greenberg, when her death first occurred, it was first rule to suicide. Everybody that heard about it was obviously astonished, and it took fourteen years to get that reclassified, not necessarily reclassified, but reopened as we think that this was not a suicide and she had multiple stab wounds all over her body. There was way more to Ellen Greenberg's case than meets the eye, and it took fourteen years. So it's frustrating. But at the same time, Ellen Greenberg is now pretty much a household name. Everybody knows her story. Everybody knows her case. And the reason that everybody knows her story is because her parents never let their foot off the gas. They kept pushing. They got the story out there. You had enough people that were on the side of this is suspicious. This needs to be reopened. This needs to be looked at, and that is what we want in Crystal's case. At the end of the day, her family just wants somebody to look at it and make their determination. Look into it again, open it, look at the evidence that Jana has, because I will tell you I was thoroughly impressed with everything that she has put together. She did such an amazing job doing everything she did, and there's documents and so many different things I can't even begin to tell you. And I just touched on it in this episode because I wanted to just kind of get to the point of everything. But there is so much, when I tell you, there is so much, and there's nothing in those documents that leads me to believe that she's lying about anything. It's all right there in black and white. So share this episode, especially if you know people in Louisiana or have any connections in Louisiana. We definitely need to get this story out there and help Jana get justice for her sister.
