Know Before You Go: Crimecon Edition

Welcome to Primetime Crime. I'm your host, Kylie. Let's talk right now in true crime, and then together we're going to work on warming up some cold cases. Let's go. Hey, guys, welcome to this week's episode of Primetime Crime. It's Kylie. We are going to get into a little right now in true crime, and then we're getting into a special edition episode what you need to know before you go crime Con. Addition, I have been to crime Con every year since twenty twenty one, not as many times as other people, but I feel like I have picked up some tips and tricks along the way, and I've had people ask me to do this episode because for one reason or another, I am able to accomplish a lot in a short amount of time in the weekend, and I always try to make the most out of my crime Con experience. So I wanted to pass along the little tips and tricks I have personally learned along the way to everyone, especially those that haven't been to crime Con before. So we are going to get into that in a little bit. But I did want to do a little right now in true crime. So they have a sentence officially Tanner Horner for the death of seven year old Athena Strand. He was the FedEx driver. Who brutally and randomly killed seven year old, sweet, innocent little Athena Strand. And he has been sentenced to death. And everything we learned in the penalty phase of this whole thing, it's horrific. The details are very unsettling. I follow these cases very very closely. I like to listen to daily recap updates from other creators that put that content out there. This was one that was really really hard for me to get through. The details are chilling, and I feel so bad for sweet little Athena and her poor family. They've had to endure so much, and I'm glad for them that this part of things is over. Tanner is behind bars for the rest of time. He will never hurt another individual, he will never have access to another child. He can never hurt another family the way that he's hurt them. So I am relieved that is. Over and he is going to never see the light of day again. I do have another update in a case I had covered for my Unsolved Sunday spotlight that I do post for every Sunday over on Instagram and Facebook. I had recently highlighted a girl named Carrie Hicks who was killed in two thousand and seven, and the details of her case were pretty vague. This happened in New Hampshire, like I said in two thousand and seven. So on February twenty fourth of two thousand and seven, a nine to one one call came in, and this was a nine to one one call that reported a shooting at a home in Acworth. Inside investigators found a twenty five year old Carrie Hicks on the living room sofa and she had sustained two gunshot wounds to the head. And her landlord, a fifty one year old man named Wayne Ring, was also in the home. He was discovered across the room on a different sofa and he was alive but also suffering from a gunshot wound to the head. Investigators did different crime scene analysis, They did some reconstruction of the shooting and also there was witness interviews and they found that Wayne and Carrie had discussed suicide and formed a pact. A twenty twenty six re examination of. The autopsy, along with some blood stained pattern analysis, determined that the first gunshot wound to Carrie was a contact wound that would if immediately incapacitated her. That means that it was medically and physically impossible for her to have fired a second shot. Authorities were then able to conclude beyond a reasonable doubt that she did not inflict her injuries, and that Wayne shot and killed her before turning the gun on himself in an attempted suicide, so they said, based on the evidence, the Attorney General determined that there would have been sufficient evidence and grounds to charge Wayne Ring with first degree murder. However, that cannot happen because Wayne died on May twenty six of twenty twelve at the age of fifty seven. Investigators have concluded that Carrie's death was intentional and that the killing was deliberate and premeditated by Wayne, and I don't know if there is any true evidence of this suicide pact other than what Wayne said. Carrie's family said that they are very grateful that the case was reopened and officially resolved, and they said, quote, we deeply appreciate the State of New Hampshire reopening Carrie's case and resolving it. Carrie is greatly missed end quote. Like I said, Wayne Ring is deceased and there's nothing they can do as far as filing any charges against him. But this is another example of how it's never too late. Nearly twenty years later and this one is officially solved and Carrie's family finally at least has answers as to what happened. All right, I have a bone to pick with Lee Gilly out of Houston, Texas. Listen to this. So I don't know if you guys have been following, but Lee Gilly is accused of murdering his wife, Crystal Bauer Gilly, in October of twenty twenty four, his pregnant wife. She was a physical therapist. I work in the therapy world and we have some mutual people in common because the therapy world is very, very small. So Lee is thirty nine years old. He is just weeks away from his trial for the murder of his wife, and he has been out on bond and had an ankle monitor on. He was able to cut his ankle monitor off and then he fled. So allegedly, he used a fake name and fake Belgian travel documents and tried to enter Italy on Sunday. Luckily, the Milan border police recognized the documents as fake and began questioning him, and that is when it was discovered who he truly was and he was detained. So at this point they don't know if the trial is going to go on on the scheduled date or if it's going to be pushed back a little bit because he is still in Italy. And I for one, am not happy that this individual was even out on bond. They had let him out on bond. He had a family member who was sick. They let him travel to South Carolina to go visit said family member, and then he was also allegedly allegedly allegedly in communication with a woman and was talking about changing his name and fleeing the country and starting ANEW. So I don't know what this guy thinks he is doing, but it's definitely not a good look. He did say when he was captured in Italy that he was being wrongfully accused of murder and was facing the death penalty, which is not the case. This is not a death penalty trial by any means. So there's a lot going on here with this case. It is one that I am going to be following. Mandy Mattney has been on top of it from the very beginning. There are just some cases, I swear, where you think they can't get any crazier and then something like this happens and you realize that it's getting crazier, literally. By the minute. So that is all the highlights for this week for Right Now and True Crime. The heavily requested by people that I have met along the way. Know before you go crime con edition. I have been going crime Con since twenty twenty one. That was in Austin, Texas. That was my first official crime con, and every year I feel like I have just kind of figured. Out the best way to. Go about navigating crime Con, how to make the most of your time because it is a very, very busy weekend. So that is what this episode is going to be about. I do not have anything at all written out whatsoever. I'm just going to kind of go through my tips and tricks for making the most out of crime Con. I am recording this episode ahead of time, but looking at the calendar for when it's going to be released. It's officially going to be released on my fortieth birthday, so I think that that's pretty cool too. So crime Con is for those that haven't been, it is a very advocacy driven event. There are a lot of victims' families there. These sessions are based on a lot of educational information. They have different law enforcement individuals, usually local law enforcement. So this year it's in Las Vegas. There's going to be some law enforcement individuals from Las Vegas that come out. You guys can go onto the crime Con website and see everybody that's been announced as a speaker thus far, and a little bit about the session that they're going to be having. I think it's going to be a great event. I think it's going to be a really, really great year. And I personally just love Vegas. I think Vegas is almost like my second home at this point. I'm going to be there so much this year. I was there in February, I'm going for crime Con. I'm going again in July. I'm literally just going to move to Vegas this year. So this year, crime Con is going to be held at the end of May, on May twenty ninth through thirty first, and it is going to be at Caesar's Palace, which I'm so excited for a new venue. Last time it was at. Harris in Vegas, and that was also great, but looking at how much crime Con has grown, it really needs to be at a bigger venue. So I'm really glad that they went the route of going with Caesar's so very interested to see all of that, how everything's laid out, So let's talk about the weekend, how to get the most of your time. So I personally prefer to arrive on Thursday, and I have arrived on Friday, I've been late to the first session. It's a very stressful time. When I'm late. I do not like to be late, so I like to get there on Thursday. Now they've also started within the last few years doing a kickoff party on Thursday evening. So getting into town Thursday like midday kind of thing, late morning, mid day, early afternoon. It gives you time to get to your hotel check in, and then they do open the badge pick up as well for a few hours prior to the kickoff party starting, so you can also go pick up your badge and get your bag, your goodie bag and all of that, and then you are able if you're attending the kickoff party it is a separate, ticketed event, then you are able to get ready and go to that. Now this year it's on site, which I'm a really big fan of the kickoff party being on site because then you don't have to worry about transportation to and from wherever the kickoff party is. One year they did the kickoff party off site that was in Nashville, and I thought it was a lot of fun. It was just the logistics of getting to and from. It's much easier when it's on site because you can just walk over to it. So this year, the kickoff Party. Is nineties theme, and that is a theme that was literally made for me. I cannot wait to see what people come up with. My crew is doing a really cute little theme idea. I'm not sharing it because I want it to be kind of a surprise, but I'm really excited to see everyone what they come up with and how cute it is. I cannot wait, And I think the kickoff Party is worth it. It is, like I said, a separate ticket an event, but I do think that it's worth it, especially if you enjoy like any type of theme situation. I'm a big theme girl. I will dress up for anything. So I am really really excited about this year. So if you are getting into town on Thursday and you're going to the kickoff party, find me. I will be there and we are gonna party like. It's nineteen ninety. It's going to be so much fun. So then Friday comes. Now, typically on Friday, Crime Con doesn't start until noon, which I think is perfect because it gives people who are coming into town Friday morning some time to get in and get. Settled before the day starts. So typically now I'm going to just kind of use the schedule from last year as kind of like a guide, because I know in the past they have done our sessions at crime Con. But last year I think, I want to say they toyed around with the rose mostly our sessions, but then I think on the last day they toyed a round with the sessions being a little bit longer. I honestly like it both ways. I do think I will say Crime cond does such a good job at keeping things on track. The sessions start exactly when they're supposed to do, they end exactly when they're supposed to and it gives you enough time to get from session to session without any problems, because it does get very crowded in the hallways, but it gives you plenty of time to get from session to session. So let's just say, for example, a session lasts from twelve oh five to one pm. After it lets out, it gives you a whole twenty minutes to get from the one session to the next before the next one starts at one twenty pm. Say, so, there's typically three rooms. One is a ballroom and the other two are other smaller type of ballrooms that are usually labeled breakout, Breakout one, Breakout two, and those sessions are going on all at the same time, so sometimes you do have to pick and choose which session you're going to attend. If there are any sessions that you can't attend that you really want to attend for whatever reason, you're not able to obviously do them all at once. There is the crime hq app which will load all of the sessions after Crime Con. It is really relatively very inexpensive to join Crime HQ. I want to say, it's like five or six dollars a month. And it is, in my opinion, very well worth it because they have stuff going on all year round that is related to true crime, and I just think it's a really great app and I always will use it after the fact to catch up on any of the crime con sessions that I miss, because there are a lot going on at the same time that you might want to see, and you do have to very much pick and choose which one you're going to go to for that hour. So they have the three difference sessions going on. There's also Creator Studio, Creator Row, and Creator Row is where all of the podcasters and YouTubers and different advocates and nonprofits, they all have their tables set up and it's just a humongous room and you just walk through and you go to the tables and you get to meet a bunch of new podcasters and there might be somebody in there that's advocating for their missing loved one or just advocating for their nonprofit, whatever the case may be. But there is also going to be events happening in there, so they'll have different recordings of different podcasts going on in creat A Row that you can sit in and listen to. So there, like I said, there's a lot going on. You have all the sessions, you might have stuff going on in creat a Row, and then in the mix of all of that, you also have meet and greets which are in separates in separate lines, and the lines, depending on who the person is that the meet and greatest for, can get very very long. I think I waited three and a half hours to meet John Walsh one year, and I would do it again, it was worth it, but I wanted to kind of give you guys an overview. There is a lot going on at once, and then I'm going to start giving you like the little tips and tricks I used to try to navigate and get the most out of my time, because I have learned a lot over the years, what works best, what doesn't. My one constant of the weekend is me talking about how overwhelmed I am, because I am a very overwhelmed person this whole weekend. My social battery is completely drained by the time it's over because I am literally trying to split myself into five different people to accomplish everything that I need to accomplish. But it is so well worth it. And I was told many times last year, you need to record this episode so people are able to get the most out of their Crime con experience. So the full schedule, I'm sure is going to be released soon. I know it's released officially a couple of weeks before the event, and the event is coming up, so we are getting so close. So what I suggest is once the schedule comes out, they have an app that you can use. I think it's skeed sc hed, and I really like the app because I think it's very user friendly and you can go in and kind of select what sessions you might want to go to. Now, the only things you have to officially sign up for and have a ticket for are the separate ticketed events. But the regular sessions you just show up for. You can select it on your sked app and then you just show up for it. Now, the more popular prominent ones it might be a little bit more crowded for, so I do suggest trying to get to those sessions asap so that way you have a seat. I have sat on the floor before for a session, and like I said, sometimes it just does get really crowded. The ballrooms are very big and there's a lot of seating. But for the more popular speakers, the first time I went and heard John Ramsey speak, it was wall to wall packed in there, so I think that was one of the ones that I might have sat on the floor for. If you have a I want to say it's premium badge, you can get closer seating. They have an area marked off in the front like the first front rows for those people, so you can sit closer. I'm kind of like I like to sit on like near like the middle to bath kind of on the end. So if for some reason I do need to leave, I can leave. I try not to do that. If I'm going to be in a session, I try to stay in that session. I typically will leave during the Q and A portion though, because I feel like it gives me a little bit more time to navigate through the halls without the huge rush of people. And that is a personal preference for me. I get very overwhelmed during large crowds and things. So if I can get out a few minutes early and go to the bathroom and. Beat the crowd, that is what I try to do. So I'm very much that person. Also speaking on that, I also will hit the merch store in the bookstore kind of at that same time before it gets really really crowded. I'll either do it. First thing, before crime con opens up and there's a mass rush. I will try to hit up the bookstore and the merch store and get what I want. Now, I will say last year I went and got a couple of books. I always get a book from my friend and then have it signed by whoever the author is. I've been doing that for years for her, so I always go to the bookstore and pick out what book I want and who's going to sign it. I will say last year at the end of Crime con I want to say, on Sunday they had books buy one, get one or buy one go one half off. I can't really remember. But if you want to get your books on the front end so you can get them signed throughout the weekend by the different authors and stuff, the different people that are there, it's better to do it at the very start. Same with merch because they do sell out merch quickly. And I know last year on Sunday they release the Crime con Vegas shirt. My cousin happened to be in there when they brought them out, so she texted me and asked if I wanted one. Obviously the answer was yes, so I was able to get my Crime con Vegas shirt on the front end. Which was good. So I do suggest doing those things as quickly as possible before the pandemonium mad rush starts. But then you can also swing by on Sunday to see what they have left if they are running any good sales, take advantage of those sales. So I just say, throughout the weekend, if there's something you really want, make sure you get it on the front end, but throughout the weekend, just intermittently in and out of the merch store and the bookstore. They've done a really good job in the last couple of years streamlining it so it's not so crowded. The last time it was in. Vegas, it was at Paris, which obviously was a lot smaller, and the bookstore was like the tiniest little area. It was so crowded. It was right when you walked into crime Con and it was just really, really busy. So they've done a great job, I think of expanding and making it very efficient to where it's so easy to just go in, get your merch, pay and then you're out of there. So let's talk creator Studio, Creator Row. I've already touched on a little bit of what it is, but it is a really cool experience to go in there. Now. I will say for me, I do get very overwhelmed in there because it is very crowded. But I would suggest taking some time during one of the sessions, so for go a session and just spend your hour in that area, going table to table, meeting, mingling, networking. If that's your thing, because you really get to meet so many great people, and there's so many amazing new podcasts and YouTube channels and victims families and nonprofits and advocates that are in there that you can meet and connect with. And I really think personally, that's what crime Con is about, is just learning as many things as you can so that way we can help propel these cases forward. You might learn about a case that you aren't familiar with before. Last year at crime Con, I learned about the Megan Trustle case, which I had no familiarity with, and I learned about it because her parents were at crime Con talking about it advocating for Megan and her story. So I suggest you spend don't just spend an hour in there, but definitely take one of the sessions. Instead of going to a session, go to Creator Row. I'm going to spend I'm going to try to spend a lot of time in Creator Row this year. I think every day I'm gonna forego a session and just spend that time in creat a Row because I need to do a humble brag real quick. I have a lot of friends on Creator Row this year, and I am so proud of all of them. I'm honored to know them. It's weird to me to say that they're my friends, but they are truly my friends. And I'm so excited to know so many people on creat A Row and I just fan girl a little bit. And I think that's the coolest thing in the world. Because there was a time when I said I'd really like to be on Creator Row, but I don't have any avenue to ever obtain that, And now it's crazy, Well, i do have an avenue to obtain it, and I'm gonna hopefully one day have my own table. But to be able to say that I. Have friends on wrote it's just so cool and I'm so proud of them because they all do it from such an advocacy driven standpoint and it just makes me so proud to know them and be able to stand alongside of them. On this journey. So if you guys are going to Crime Con, please take some time to go visit all of my amazing friends in Creator Studio and support them and download their podcasts and rate and review their podcasts because they're all amazing humans and they're all doing amazing, amazing work. So my suggestion is take a little bit of time each day during a session and go into Creator Studio. It is going to be very crowded. I will say last year on Sunday it was a lot less crowded. That's when I went in and spent like a good amount of time in there. I think I was in there for two hours, just trying to take it all in. A lot of people had left early last year, so I'm hoping this year Sunday will still be hoppin' and boppin' and there's going to be still stuff going on. So Friday, it starts at noon, sessions go at least last year they went until six fifteen and then there was a meet and greet after that, and Saturday started at nine am and went all the way until six thirty pm. And then they had these separate ticketed events and there's the Clue Awards on Saturday evening, and then Sunday started at nine am and went until two thirty. So it is a very busy weekend. It is hour to hour to hour, and you were just picking the different sessions you want to go to and trying to make the most of your event. Now, I do want to talk about the meet and greets. So I'm a big meet and greet girl. I really enjoy being able to meet these people that I have watched some of them watch for decades on my TV, and they are a lot of them are readily available in the hallways. If you are a person that's just willing to go up to them and talk to them in the hallway, you can always go that route if they're not having a meet and greet or you don't want to stand in the meet and greet line. I've been able to meet a lot of them just in the hallways. That's how I met Josh Mekowitz. I just went up to him in Orlando and had a nice conversation and I was able to talk to him that way, so I didn't have to actually do his meet and greet, but then I ended up doing it. Because that's a long story in itself. But go back to my Crime Con Orlando episode for that fun recap, because that's a memory I will never forget in life. So if you do a meet and greet, so typically, and I'm just going to say typically, they're going to let me just say, for example, Chris Hansen, Chris Hansen will have his session at and this is just an example. From one to two, four, and then from three to four is going to be his meet and greet. So the line for the meet and greet will They'll start lining up during the session. So for me personally, I would much rather forego the session and go get in the meet and greet line, so that way I am sure that I'm going to be able to meet them, I'm able to get through the line quickly, because the lines get very very long. When I met John Walsh, I was fully planning on going to his session for a little while and just dipping out a little early and then getting in line. But my friend Stephanie knew that I wanted to meet him, and she had gone down to the meet and greet area for some reason, and she called me and she said, Hey, they're already lining up for John Walsh. You might want to get down here. And I was in the middle of registering for crime Con for the next year, and I just completely like jump ship. I finished my registration, but I completely jump ship from whatever else I was doing, and I went into the John Walsh line. And when I tell you, I barely made the cut off. I barely made the cut off, and I was in line hours ahead of time. He was a really really popular one that people wanted to meet, of course understandably, so so you might have to forego the session if you really want to get a chance to meet them, because they do cut the lines off. Everyone but Nancy Grice. They cut the lines off because Nancy will not leave Crime con will not leave her meet and greet until she has met everybody that is standing in line. They always put her meet and greet last for that reason. But the other meet and greets that are going on, obviously they're on a time crunch because they have other meet and greats that are going to be there as well. So if you are a meet and greet person, planned accordingly. Also, if you have a Platinum badge, you do get to skip the line. They have like their own line, which is good. I never have gone that route. I've always just done standard, and I've always felt very fulfilled with my experience at Crime. I've never felt like I missed out on anything. I know there are other perks for the Golden Platinum, but I personally just have never gone that route, and i've never I don't know what I'm missing because I've never done it, so standard for me is the way to go. I probably should do Platinum one year, just for the heck of it to see, because I know you do get a like private meat and great type situation where you get to spend some time with one of the people from that weekend. So maybe one year I will give it a shot. I just never have. I've always just done standard. Okay, So navigating food can be quite challenging. It really depends on the venue how many eatery places are available. Last year in Denver was great because there was a lot of different options so the waytime at the restaurants weren't always super long and you could easily get in and get out. I'm a big room service for breakfast girl, and I usually will order my room service the night before, put my order in the night before for the time I want it for the next morning. That is one of my pro tips. It has worked really good for me. Versus trying to get up super early and go try to navigate finding a restaurant to eat at. So I think you've a good breakfast in the morning, get yourself a nice good cup of coffee and some protein and. That will carry you through proudably through dinner. You can bring snacks and all the things in your bags. They do ask that you have quiet snacks so it's not super loud. You're not opening a super loud crunchy bag of chips or something in the middle of a session, because that's disrespectful too, who's speaking. So quiet snacks are important. And have your big water bottle with you that you'll just refill throughout the weekend, throughout the day. They have water stations in the ballrooms and stuff, so you can just take your water bottle and fill it up. And they also will have little cups there so you can also just get like a little cup of water if you want. But I walk around with my emotional support water bottle all week and long, and last year I actually left it in Denver and Rachel so graciously rescued it for me from my hotel room. It was a whole thing. So don't forget your water bottles. Also, Vegas is very dry, so if you're not used to a dry climate, make sure you have chapstick and eye drops as well if you have any type of dry eye situation going on. My eyes get so dry in Vegas, so I carry around eye drops with me, and I carry around chopstick with me every day of my life normally, so even more so in Vegas. So just a few Vegas tips there. Also, you want to make sure you're dressing comfortable because you are going to be sitting in these sessions. You're going to be walking to and from different sessions. I typically will wear like probably my podcast shirt and leggings. Sometimes they bust out a pair of jeans if I'm trying to be fancy, but I try to keep it very comfy because I am sitting in these sessions, so I want to be comfortable. You also want to be warm, so make sure you have layers because the ballrooms and the different events do get really, really chilly. I get pretty chilly normally when I'm just sitting, so I always make sure I have something over. If I'm wearing a T shirt, have something over a T shirt, or at least have something with me, because they do tend to keep it cooler because there's a lot of people. I would always rather be cold and put layers on than be hot, so I never complain about the temperature because I can always wrap myself up in layers and make myself warm and comfy, and also make sure that you wear really really comfortable shoes because there is going to be a lot of walking. I don't quite know how Caesar's Palace conference area is set up, but see there's palace as a whole. It's not called Caesar's Palace for nothing. It is massively large, and there is going to be a lot of walking, and there's also Caesar's Palace is also a lot more widespread versus other venues in the past they have like one localized bar that everybody gathers at. I think it's going to be different in Vegas, so. You will probably have quite the walk from your hotel room to the convention center more likely than not. So just make sure that you wear comfortable shoes and you are going to get your steps in during the weekend and it will be well well worth it. Another thing, don't be afraid to talk to people. You're gonna meet so many cool people in the different lines you're in. If you're in line for a meet and greet, you're gonna meet amazing, fun, cool people. It really feels like a huge bonding experience when you're at crime Con because you're there with like minded people. So that's really what it's all about. It's all about meeting these new people, swapping stories, creating these connections. So actually last year I was in line to meet John Ramsey and I met these two gals. They were a great Kelly and Yolanda. They were actually from Denver, and I met them in the like I said, the John Ramsey line, and we had been chatting and I had on my podcasting girls hoodie and it had all of our logos on the back of it. So one of the gals said, oh, I took a picture of the back of your hoodie, and I was like, Oh, those are all my friends podcasts and mine's on there too, and then we just started chatting more and more and more. And then I ran into them the next day when I was at Creator Studio and we were all kind of chatting, and they told me that I needed to do this crime Con No Before You Go episode because I really had helped them navigate through crime Con and they were so grateful and they gave me the idea for this, So shout out Yolanda and for giving. Me this idea. We were with Rachel and Heather from Like Mother, Like murder, and I think Stephanie from Wicked ever After when this idea kind of came to be. I think Danny after Dark was there too, and it all just become this and now I'm officially recording it with almost a month to go into a crime con. So that's what I mean when I say don't. Be afraid to talk to people, because there's a lot of really cool people that attend crime con, so many people with so many different stories. There is so much advocacy going on there, and I think that that's what's most important. Last thing I want to talk about is the wall that they have where you can put up missing persons flyers or any type of flyer where you're advocating for either a loved one that's been missing or is an unsolved case. And it's really cool to see this board grow over the weekend. It starts with just a few posters and then by the end of the weekend it is covered and people can stop there look at the different posters, and they have sticky notes that you can write stuff on and then place it on the board as well, just to let these families know that people are behind them, people know their loved one know their loved one's name and face and that you know we're all coming together for the greater good. So that is probably my favorite part, is seeing at the end of the weekend how much that board has grown and how many people are truly impacted by what crime Con is all about, which is about advocating for the missing and the ones whose cases are unsolved. And as much as I say I like seeing it grow, it's also really sad to see it grow, because I would love a day that they put a board up and there's no posters on it because every case. Has been solved. But I like that this event exists for that reason because it gives those victims families an opportunity to share their loved one story in an environment where people are willing to hear and listen and assist in just advocating for these people. I think that's truly what it's all about at the end of the day. So that is my crime Con No before you go episode, I'm sure there's things that I forgot to talk about or am missing, but I know it's going to be a great weekend. I think every year crime Con for me personally gets better and better and better. So we are manifesting that crime Con twenty twenty six is going to be the best one yet. I'm really excited to learn about where. Crime Con twenty twenty seven is going to be and I just cannot wait. I love when crime Con is in September and then the next year it's in May because the wait is so much shorter versus waiting for May to September. So I'm going to be literally counting down every single day until crime Con twenty twenty seven, and crime Con twenty twenty six hasn't even happened yet. I am so excited. For the Las Vegas of it all and really really excited for crime Con this year. I think it's going to be a great event. And like I said, I'm excited about the Vegas of it all and the event as a whole. I think it's going to be one for the books for sure.
