MISSING: Alec Jaydon Fischmann

Hey guys, welcome back to Primetime Crime. It's Kylie. I'm a little under the weather. I was not going to record a right now true crime, but things are happening and I can't not record, so bear with me. I try to get through it. I feel not my best, but we're gonna make it short and sweet and get to the point. So this morning, when I woke up, I saw that they had made an arrest in the Savannah Soto and Matthew Guerrera murders. And you know, there was a lot, a lot, a lot a lot of online speculation as to who these people were because they had the video footage of this truck pulling up to this apartment complex and the car that Matthew and Savannah were found in pulls up and then there's an exchange. There's like a bigger man that gets out, and people think that there's a woman in the car. While they officially arrested nineteen year old Christopher Presciato, who has a very long hair and it looks like a girl, and Raymond Presiato, who is his father. So they have charged Christopher with capital murder and I think I said, Raymond, that's not his name. His name is Ramon and they charged him with abuse of a corpse and that's basically because he helped transport and move the bodies after they were murdered. The authorities do believe that they're the only two suspects and the only two people that they are looking for. There is no one else. And they do believe that Savannah and Matthew and the unborn child were all killed on December twenty first, they were killed at a different location and then brought to that apartment complex. There's no necessary connection between that apartment complex and any of the people involved. And also they do believe that it was drug related. And it's really sad to me. Savannah was only eighteen years old and Christopher, the main suspect here, is nineteen years old. I don't understand it. It makes no sense to me. Drugs are not good. The drug biz is not the biz to be in, especially when you're nineteen. It's just wild to me that this had to happen, and it all happened because of like really bad life choices. So anyways, that is the update on that. But the San Antonio Police Department did like a purp walk on their Facebook page, like a live video and they brought each of the suspects out and then they did like a little mini press conference in the parking garage answering all the questions. So this is going to be a really interesting one to see unfold and see what happens. In other news, the Epstein client list is being released as we speak, and we're not going to be shocked by any of the names that are on there. I don't personally believe that we're going to be shocked by any of the names that are on there. It's been really hard to access and there's a lot of different things floating around. There's a lot of documents, and it's a lot to go through. But we're going to start to see names start trickling out in the next few days. And David Copperfield is on there. We're not shocked. Bill Clinton not shocked, you know, We're not shocked. We're not not by any of it. And it's just going to be interesting to see it all come down and all happen, And it's going to be interesting for sure. In other news, Charlie Adelson, who is a dentist, accused of a murder for higher plot in the death of his brother in law. He has filed his appeal, which that's comical considering the whole family is literally being arrested as we speak for connection to the murder of Dan. It's gonna be really interesting to see it all play out, see it all go down, And I think more arrests are imminent and happening, probably sooner rather than later. But he has officially filed a notice of appeal and I thought it was interesting sts podcast Surviving the Survivor, they did a interview with a gal that was an employee that worked with Charlie at the dental practice that he worked at, and her interview was really really interesting. She is anonymous, but she basically was giving her account on her interactions with Charlie and just like everything, and it was really interesting to hear her kind of validate what now is being said about Charlie. How he's just that kind of person that thinks he's holier than now and above the law and arrogant and you know, all of the things that make somebody turn in to a person that thinks that they can get away with murder and thinks that they are above everything. So check that interview out and if you guys, don't listen to Surviving the Survivor, you totally should. It is one of my favorite true crime podcasts and it's really blown up in the last year, So check that one out. There is probably more to talk about, but I'm going to keep this right now in true crime. Short I even like debated not even doing it right now in true crime and just releasing the episode because the episode I'm releasing today is a super important, current, ongoing missing person. We need to get the info out there. I just got worried that he was officially his name is officially added to the NamUs, and it's got to be so frustrating for these families who have missing adult children trying to advocate for their missing adult children and get them into the proper channels that they need in order to help get their name out there. But I did see that he was officially added, so that is something that we are celebrating and it'll all make a lot more sense once you hear the story. So we are going to go ahead and go in to today's episode. Okay, guys, we are diving into a new case today. This one is pretty recent, ongoing, and I figured now is as good a time as any to share this story with you, guys, because it is so so important that we get some of these newer cases out into the public as soon as possible to avoid them becoming cold, to avoid nobody doing nothing about it, and to avoid this going on for decades and decades and decades, like many of the stories I share with you guys. So today I'm going to be bringing you the story of a twenty eight year old guy named Alec Jaden Fishman. I've seen that he goes by Alec to some with some of his friends. I've also seen he goes by Jaden primarily I see his family, particularly his mother, calling him Jaden. So that is what I'm going to call him for this episode, and we are going to talk about his disappearance and the circumstances surrounding his disappearance. There are some really odd happenings. And also we're going to talk about the lack of police effort in helping Jaden's mother and family try to locate him. And that is probably my biggest frustration with these cases that I see time and time and time again, because because he is an adult, he is twenty eight, he is at as someone that can leave on their own accord if they want, and they don't take it seriously. They look at it as a runaway type of situation and it doesn't get the attention that it deserves, even though the circumstances of his disappearance are suspicious. So we're going to talk about all of that and try to unpack all of this together. And if nothing else, we are getting his name out there, We're getting his face out there, getting his story out there, so hopefully we can figure out what happened to Jaden and bring his mom some closure and hopefully bring him home safe. That is the end goal in this. So some of the details of this story are a little confusing to me, but I'm going to do the best I can to try to properly explain what all was going on when Jaden disappeared. So, Jaden lived in Henderson, Nevada, which is not too far from Las Vegas. So he was planning on traveling to California to visit one of his former girlfriends. And he got on a flight to California and there was a stop in Denver. So he got on his flight from Vegas with a layover in Denver, Colorado, he arrived in Denver, and then he had a ten hour layover before he was going to get on a connecting Frontier flight to San Francisco, which would lead him to his final destination. So somewhere in the midst of the layover and the San Francisco flight, he got on the San Francisco flight. I don't really understand the circumstances of what went on, but before take off, he was asked leave the plane because he had been filming somebody and they felt uncomfortable with this, And his mom said that they were told that he was acting a little bit of a little bit paranoid. But that's really all that they had been told about this interaction, is that he was not acting right. He was acting paranoid, and he was asked to leave the plane. I assume he was asked to leave the plane before it took off, because what happened next is he got off the plane. They I guess were in the midst of rescheduling him another flight, and he went ahead and booked himself a lift car and went ahead and headed for an Ocono Lodge hotel in Aurora, Colorado. So there is surveillance video of him checking in to the hotel at two thirteen in the morning, and then there's also a video of him leaving the hotel lobby the next day at ten forty nine am. There's also a man who Tammy, who is Jaden's mom, believes was also staying at the hotel. He was seen kind of rushing towards Jaden in this surveillance video footage. But for whatever reason, the authorities have refused to interview this person in question, and the hotel themselves have also very much distanced themselves from becoming involved in this situation, even though that was the last time that Jaden was seen, and it just doesn't make any sense. It very eerily reminded me of the case I did on a Canadian man named Blair Adams who went missing after vouts of paranoia and telling his friends that he thought someone was after him, and he was basically on the run, and he ended up leaving a hotel and the next time anyone saw him is when they found him dead. He had been killed. And it all just really doesn't add up to me. That you have somebody who is obviously okay, something may be going on, and then he just vanishes into thin air. And you don't think that it is appropriate to question people that potentially might have some answers leading to his state of mind or where he was going or anything like that around the time that he went missing. It's just one giant question mark for me, why you wouldn't just go ahead and cross those te's and dot the eyes while you have that information available to you. So Jaden goes missing and has no contact with his family, which is very, very very out of the ordinary for him. Jaden is twenty eight years old, and he was somebody that his family frequently was able to get in touch with, and he got in touch with them, and he just went cold, and nobody had heard from him, so his family knew something had happened, something was wrong. So phone records do indicate that Jaden's Android phone stayed on without any activity until September thirtieth of this year. September thirtieth of twenty twenty three. All of this happened with him going missing on September twenty eighth, so we have a whole two days of him being gone that his phone is still on and it is somewhere. Of course, his family was frantically calling, texting, trying to get in touch with him, and then eventually the phone was turned off, and at this point Tammy his mother just assumed the battery must have died on his phone. Wherever this phone is, it's obviously lost somewhere and the battery must have died. So from there, they don't have any leads. Nobody is willing to help them try to figure out where their son is. They are basically just treating Jaden as somebody who left on his own volition, and they do not even want to call him a missing person at this point, which is so reminiscent of Kaalana Turner, and it really pisses me off that we still live in a world where an adult disappears and it's not taken seriously. I don't care if they ran away, I don't care. They're still a missing person. And that really frustrates me. And we have got to do better for these families. It is unacceptable to treat family like this when they are already going through a hard enough time dealing with the disappearance of their family member. We have to do better. So flash forward a whole month later, almost on October twenty third, and the phone gets turned back on, which is very interesting. So in twenty twenty one, they passed a act which is called the Kelsey Smith Act, which allows cell phone provider companies to give the phone location information to law enforcement in emergency situations such as abductions. And when the authorities got information that this phone was turned on, they were able to get the location of the phone, and surprisingly they did turn the information over to Jaden's mom and let Tammy know where the phone was. So at this point his family had been back and forth to Denver, back to Vegas. Then they were going to Oakland, California, because the pings for the cell phone were coming from Oakland, California, which was close to the destination that he was originally going to. So none of this made sense to them. They were just kind of following whatever they were told, and with this cell phone pinging in Oakland, that's where they headed. Unfortunately, they were not able to track down the phone at that moment. But with all of that going on, suddenly Jaden's social media started to become active again and there was posts made on his page, on his Facebook and his Instagram accounts, and these posts were basically people we don't know who they were, but people that were basically threatening his family and making attempts to extort money and get money sent to Jaden's phone using the cash app that was on Jaden's phone. Now, these people are not Jaden. They are whoever the hell found his phone and is deciding to use his social media to try to monetize and get money and extort and just be horrible humans, because that's who these kind of people are. So these people basically told the family of Jaden that they knew where they lived, and they were making up stories about how they got the phone in the first place, and they said that one of the excuses that they gave was they picked it up from train hoppers. And Tammy ended up sending all of the screenshots of the messages and stuff that she was getting, and she let the authorities know what was going on because there was threats being made, like detailed threats towards her and others towards Jaden himself. And Tammy thought, finally we have some little bit of information we can go off of. These people are threatening us, they're threatening Jaden and was hopeful that somebody was going to do something about it, but they were basically told that there's no crime being committed, and they told Tammy that the only way that they could really check into it and check it out is if she got a picture of somebody being tied up with a bag over their head. W t F. So you have a missing man, a demeanor that he was acting before he disappeared that was out of the or near for him, him not contact his family, the phone being turned off, the phone being turned back on, the phone traveling from Colorado to Oakland, California, random messages from weird alleged gang members using his social media and his cell phone to contact his mom and try to extort money from her. And you don't think that it's a time to intervene and try to figure out what is going on as law enforcement. That is alarming to me and it is not okay. Luckily, Tammy has been befriended by Candice Cooley, who is the mother of Dylan Rounds, who went missing last year. She has been so so helpful to families that are dealing with similar situations, and she has really helped Tammy navigate this because she's been through it herself, the same kind of situation. So Luckily Tammy has Candace in her corner and is is helping her. So through the help of all of Jaden's friends and family, they were able to get access to Jaden's voicemail and somehow or another. This is the part that to me is kind of confusing, because they were able to essentially get in contact with somebody who was in Oakland that was in contact with Jaden's phone, not knowing that it had been infiltrated by these people. Now I don't know how exactly this came to be, but they essentially started a conversation with Jaden's phone and they ended up being able to get the phone back, and it was brought back to Las Vegas, and the people that had the phone had done something to it that caused it to be completely locked down, unable to access any information that was on it. So at the end of the day, getting the phone back really wasn't that big of a deal because everything was locked up and the only way that they said that they could fix it was to do a factory reset, which Tammy said was not an option. So although they have the phone back and the people that had the phone can no longer taunt them, they still don't have any answers as to where their son is or what has transpired, how the phone ended up in California, anything like. None of it makes any sense. So finally, with the help of Candace, Jaden has finally been placed onto a missing person's database. And if Tammy had been taken seriously from the beginning, a lot of this stuff could have been avoided. I believe if they had looked into different people that had surrounded Jayden in the time leading up to his disappearance, if they had just kind of questioned a lot of things, I feel like we would have a lot more of our questions answered at this point. And Tammy does claim that she has identified the people who took the phone, but she needs law enforcements help on this, and that is what she is not getting. And that is where we come in, and we help spread the message and spread the word and get Jayden's name out there, his face out there, the fact that he's missing, get his story out there, the fact that there's these people who had his phone for whatever reason and we're using it for nefarious reasons, whether or not they're involved or not. We need to figure out who they are and rule them out across them off the list or question them further and find out that they are involved in disappearance because something transpired with Jaden. Tammy is quoted as to saying, it's a mystery to me. There's so many pieces the police could be investigating and they aren't. I need to know what happened to my son. End quote. And yes, that is so so so important. So like I said, Jaden was last seen at the Ocono Lodge in Denver at fifteen nine hundred eighth fortieth Avenue, Aurora, Colorado, on nine to twenty eight of twenty twenty three. He is twenty eight years old, between five six and five seven, one hundred and fifty pounds, brown eyes, brown hair. He has three tattoos that are pretty identifiable. I am going to post pictures of them all on my Instagram page. And the three areas of interest that he may be in are Aurora, Colorado, Las Vegas, Nevada, and Oakland, California. And we just need to get his story out there. We need to put pressure on the Las Vegas Metro Police Department to take this seriously and question the people that they need to question and cross people off of the list because something has happened to Jaden. He did not disappear on his own volition, and his family deserves to know where he is and what happened to him, and we don't need him to turn into somebody that's missing for months and months and months and years and years and years without any resolution. This is a case that easily could be solved, but we all have to really work together to spread awareness and get his story out there because there is some odd things about the story that really don't add up, and they're all not going to add up until we figure out what exactly happened to Jayden when he left that econolage on that day. That's really all that anyone wants at the end of the day is to have these stories end happily and not have to think about another family having to mourn another day of having their child missing and not knowing where they're at.
