MISSING: Kay-Alana Turner (Rerelease)

Hey guys, welcome to another episode of Prime Time Crime. It's Kylie. We are going to dive right into right now. In true Crime. So Elec Murda officially sentenced to twenty seven years for his financial crimes. He is required to serve at least eighty five percent of that time before he's eligible for parole. Now, he did plead guilty and they all came to kind of an agreement of twenty seven years, which is a significant amount of time, it really is. And depending on what goes on moving forward with his appeal and all of the alleged jury tampering, he potentially, I think could get a new trial, and God knows what's going to happen with that, because this is literally the case that never ends and never stops. But when you really think about all the bad that Alex did, Elick did, I'm still gonna call him Alex from time to time. There's despite the murder, double murder, which I'm still I go back and forth constantly on that whole thing, but the financial crimes alone, like he is just not a good person. And he gets up and he is, you know, giving his apologies and statements, and it's just very much reminds me of somebody that is used to being able to talk his way out of stuff. He was a lawyer. He was really good at what he did, and he's able to like talk his way out of things. But now he can't talk his way out of it. So he just keeps saying the same thing over and over and over again, hoping that eventually somebody is going to be like, oh, he really didn't mean to do it. It's just so wild. I'm going to kind of go over a little bit of what he said, even though a lot of it is just repeat of everything that he has said in the past, but I do want to touch on that a little bit and then touch a little on what some of the victims spoke out about as well. So one of the people that spoke who is one of the victims of all of these financial crimes, is one of Elek's best friends, who is named Jordan Jenks, and he was very emotional, very upset, and he said, I'm not crying because of what you stole for me. I'm crying for what he did to everybody, these kids, these people dying, And I didn't want to come up here and bash you, but I got to ask you, what kind of animal are you? And he was just so emotional. He said, if you would have asked me for that money, I would have given it to you. The money that you stole for me, if you would have asked me for it, I would have given it to you. And he had hired Elick after he was injured in a car crash in twenty sixteen and was due about one hundred and fifty thousand dollars in a settlement and ended up obviously not getting his money. So not only was he stealing from people, but he was stealing from people at their most vulnerable when they really needed him the most to just do his job and be a good be a good guy. And one of the sons of Gloria Saderfield, who was the housekeeper who basically helped raise Paul and Buster, died on the Murda property like it was a whole thing. He said that he very much felt sorrow for how his mother was treated and said to Elick, you lie, you cheated, and you stole, You betrayed me and my family and everybody else. But he also did say that I want you to know that I forgive you and I will pray for you every day, which that cuts deep, let me tell you, Hopefully he realizes the severity of his horrible, horrible actions. Gloria Sadderfield's sister also got up and said, my heart goes out to not only to my family, but to all the families you did wrong. And I just don't understand. Do you not have a soul? Which truly, do you not have a soul? Like? How could you do this to these people? And it's not just those two families. There's many other people that he stole money from when they were at their most vulnerable. So, like I said, he got twenty seven years, he has to serve at least eighty five percent of that, and he's already serving the two consecutive life sentences for the double murders of Maggie and paul In from June of twenty twenty one. So the judge who we love, Judge Newman, he's the best. He said, it is unimaginable to me that you have done some of the things you have done, whether it is you or someone you became upon using drugs or the process of committing crimes over and over, I don't know. I don't even know. Who I'm speaking to now, Creighton Waters, who is the prosecutor and the best human I love listening to him. I think he is so good at his job. During some of his opening statements, he said that, you know, there was fear amongst these people that were coming forward with these financial crimes because of how powerful the Murdaws were in Hampton and in South Carolina, and people would always say, like, I have to live here, I can't mess with the Murdaws. Like you don't know who they are, you don't know what they're capable of. And I think that right there tells you everything you need to know about the kind of person that Elick was or is, more or less just because he was able to get away with things for so long because of who he was, just because he was born into this very powerful family, he was able to get away with so much until it finally caught up with him. I really feel like everything that went down was a way to kind of put an end to the rain. And it's not even I don't know, it's just weird to me because when the boat crash happened, there's the bodycam footage of one of the kids from the boat crash saying like, do you know who the murders are to one of the police officers, and he was like, yeah, I've heard of him. And then the kid was like, well, good luck, that's his son. Good luck, Like you're not going to get anywhere because that's his son and he is protected. And it's just weird, like what Elex said in the trial, like, oh, what a tangled web we weave, Like he had to lie to cover up, moralized, to cover up, moralized to cover up, moralized, to try to just coast along and cover up all of the wrongdoings that he was doing, and that in itself, all of the lies he told led to him being charged with murder. There is evidence that he was definitely in some way, shape or for him involved. Do I think he was necessarily a trigger man. I'm really not sure. I go back and forth on it constantly, constantly, like the back and forth I do in my head. It's constant because I hear the talk and I'm like, yeah, that makes sense, and then I hear Creighton talk and I'm like, yeah, that makes sense. But the fact that he lied so much to cover up his lies, to cover up his lies, really put a giant target on his back. As far as being involved in this double murder. I don't know if we're ever going to find out what happened that night. We probably won't, but all I know is right now he is at least going to be serving a substantial amount of time in prison because he did do so wrong to so so many people. Okay, enough talk about Elk. We are moving on to my other favorite topic in life. Davell Valo. Chad Davell. His trial starts on April first, and cameras are going to be allowed in the courtroom. I e. Kylie is going to be really struggling to keep up with life Comice April first, because I know we learned a lot in the Lori Valor trial, but it was not televised. We couldn't see any video. So it's going to be really interesting to see everything, get to see the witnesses, hear the witnesses, everything that's going to come out. It's going to be pretty similar, I think to Luri Valo, but they're basically trying to say. Chad's defense is going to be that Lori was the mastermind and she pulled the strings and Chad was just this poor innocent bystander who got mixed up and was love struck. Obviously, I don't believe that for one second. I have always said that I feel like both of them, existing on their own, were into some not great things, and then they came together and they were into some not great things together. In my opinion, that is just my thought process on it, because Chad was very quickly I think, going off the deep end and getting involved in all of these near death experience book writing things and just like not on the right path. And then he bombarded with Lurie and it was just like the perfect storm of crazy crap and portals and Maronei craziness, zombies and darken light scales and all of that, Like all of that stuff that he talks about, the dark and light scale, that was stuff that his family used to talk about. Like that was nothing that Laurie made up. Lurie just came in at a time with Chad where he was really into it and she was very easily manipulated and swayed, and she was also a manipulator, So it, like I said, I think it was just a perfect storm of crazy that collided. And we have all these people who have been murdered for whatever reason, so it's going to be interesting. I do think he's going to be found guilty. I don't see him not being found guilty, but I'm really interested to see everything go down and having a front row seat to watch it all. I will be watching every single bit of that footage and will probably be doing like periodic updates. I know my girl Gigi at Pretty Lies and Alibis is probably going to be doing her best to do like the daily updates she always does. That's originally how I found her was during I think I found her during Lori Valo's trial, and she is my favorite podcast, my favorite true crime podcast that I listen to on the regular. She does an amazing job and I like her because she's just fact based. She says what she is, the facts. She says the facts, and I just love her. She's the best. So that is it for right now in True Crime. I'm sure there's gonna be more that's gonna pop up, and I will be sure to go over that on Monday. But with all of that, we're gonna go ahead and go into the episode for today. It is a re release, but I feel like it's super important for me to re release this episode to get more eyes and ears on it so we can officially bring Kaylana home. So we're gonna go ahead and lead into that today. I am re releasing the interview that I did with Kaylana Turner's mother, Rosa Calhoun. I interviewed her back in June, and at that point, Kaylana had been missing for a while, and Kayalana is still missing, and there have been some things that have kind of happened her car. They ended up auctioning off her car and not even letting the family know about it. Just all around shady behavior, unfortunately has been demonstrated by HPD Harris County Police Department, and it's been so frustrating for me just kind of sitting on the sidelines, knowing the story, knowing what happened, and knowing that the sheriff has still refused to meet with Kaylana's parents and talked to them and just discuss things like if you haven't heard her story, please please please listen to the interview I did with Rosa back in June. It's going to be in this episode. Her story is really sad. So Kaylana worked in New York City during the pandemic at one of the only hotels that stayed open during the pandemic. Obviously, New York was a highly highly trafficked city, a lot of people died, a lot of bad things happened in New York City while Kayalana was there. This left her with the most anxiety struggles with depression. She eventually moved back home and had been taking some new anxiety antidepressant medicine and instead of them working with her the way that they should have by listening to her when she said, I feel like these medicines aren't working for me, they just doubled her dose and upped her dose. So she had been taking these new medicines. She had not been sleeping. She was not in a good frame of mind. She also had a heart condition since birth that she had struggled with her whole life. And all of these things were going on at once. It was the perfect storm of bad things that happened. She ended up in a neighborhood she was not familiar with, in an area she was not familiar with. She made. The only mistake she made that day was falling asleep in someone's driveway and the cops were called out and they went to try to gain access to the vehicle. Kay Alana got scared. Obviously, it's middle of the night, like early morning, hours before the sun is even up, and she got spooked, so she ran, and then the cops busted her window out with two by four, causing Kaylana to become even more spoot And obviously her car was filled with glass at that moment, and she ran and ran into literally and vanished into thin air. If those circumstances had never happened. If the cops had gone after her and ran after her, then she would not have She would not be missing at this moment. She has been missing since March tenth of this year. That is incredibly too long to be without your daughter, to not know where your daughter is, to know if she's safe, And it's really frustrating that Harris County dropped the ball on this one. And look, I back the blue. Kaylan's family, they backed the blue. They have police officers in their family. And two things can be true at once. We can support the cops, but we can also be human enough and take accountability and realize that cops are human and humans make mistakes and use it as learning opportunities and rooms to room to grow and room to take accountability. Nobody is perfect. Sometimes good people do bad things, or sometimes good people do things that they shouldn't have done, and that's okay. But if we don't own up to it and hold ourselves accountable and admit the wrongdoings, then we're not learning from the bad things that happened. And honestly, in my opinion, that's what happened in Kaylana's case. It wasn't handled properly. They let her basically run away and then said that they were going to charge her with all of these warrants and charges because she evaded arrest and tried to run over a cop. And it just doesn't make sense when you're a precinct and a community Harris County that preaches that mental illness isn't a crime, but yet you turn around and treat Kayalana like she is a felon, then you're not practicing what you preach. And we have to do better as a community. We have to do better for these people. This kind of stuff can't happen, and if it happens once, that's unfortunate. But we need to all come together and figure out why things like this are happening and how things can change so there isn't more Kialanas out there. It shouldn't happen. I hear this time and time again with the story stories I cover, and it's just one of those things that we have to do better. We have to figure out a way to hold each other and ourselves accountable. If I do something wrong, I am a million percent going to un up to it immediately. If I do something wrong with my job or just in a general say, I'm going to own up to it because it was my actions. You're not perfect, We're all human, we're all flawed. We have to use these opportunities as learning opportunities to prevent it from happening again, to prevent another family from going through what Kayalana's family is going through now. We are approaching the holiday season and they do not have their daughter because Harris County Police Department acted in a way that was not in the best interests of kay Alana, who was suffering from a cardiac event and having some mental health struggles at the moment. And that's the only way to slice it. If they hadn't a busted her window out, she would not be missing. If they had run after her and actually gone after her. She is a one hundred and ten pound little girl, they could have caught her. It's very, very frustrating. So I really want you guys to listen to the interview that I did with Rosa. Like I said, I respect law enforcement one hundred and ten percent. I will back the blue all day long. But in that we also have to hold people accountable for their actions and sometimes people make mistakes. Like I've said, it is one of those things that I think is important across the board. You have that respect and that little bit of you know that they're going to help you, but you also have to hold them accountable when something doesn't go as planned. It's it happens. It's not okay that this happened to Kayalana and that she's still missing, but we have to figure out why it happened so we can prevent it from happening again. And we all need to band together and put pressure on Harris County to do the right thing and talk to Robbie and Rosa about what happened that day so we can get some resolution and find kay Alanna. So I am going to go ahead and lead into the interview that I did with Rosa. Again, this was recorded back in June of this year of twenty twenty three, so there have been some things like I said that have happened since, but there have been no credible leads or sightings into kay and finding her. My name is Rosa Calhoun and my daughter Margaret kaylanas her is missing. Kay is one of the sweetest, the kindest, most loving girls. She has just been a light in our lives. And we are desperately searching for her. She was born with a heart condition, and she has a heart condition called ventricular subtle defect with aphib which means that when she goes into a fib her lips turned blue and she kind of goes into like a congestive heart failure, which we've dealt with her whole life. And so part of the reason that we feel like that she is missing is because of her heart condition and the dangerous situation that she was in that morning. So Kaiwana is twenty eight years old. She has brown hair and blue eyes. She's fa foot four and she weighs about one hundred and ten pounds. She speaks three languages. She speaks fluent Spanish, she speaks fluent French and English. Wow good for her. Yes, She actually work as a tutor for people that were coming into the country. She would meet people and they would be trying to explain something to her and she would just start talking to them in Spanish, and once they realized that she could converse fluently with them, they begin to ask her if she could help them with the language. And so she began going and teaching whole families how to speak English. Them. I love that or Yes, she just has a heart for people. Her whole life. She has loved to help people and anytime she saw someone that needed something, she would do whatever she could to make sure that their need was met. So she really is a kind, sweet girl. Her apartment that she has here in Beaumont, she had a mailbox on the outside of it where she lives at there's a homeless population there, and so she had set up a little mailbox on the outside of her apartment where homeless people could come and drop off their phones and she would charge their phones for them. She would leave them a note and tell them when their phone would be ready. She would charge their phones and then she would put them back in this little mailbox for the people to have their phones. She really does love people. That's such a sweet story. Yeah, I can just tell by your posts and everything that she just has such and such a good heart. Yes, she's very very sweet. Of we are a loss as to what happened the morning of March tenth. We have looked everywhere we can for answers. Just to give y'all a little background about the reason why Kaylana is missing. On the ninth of March, she had stayed a couple of days at her friend Britney's house, and so on the night of March she had gone outside of Britney's house and Brittany had talked to her earlier, and Kaylena had said that she hadn't been sleeping because the doctor had changed her medication. Her doctor had her on solo and riblin, which later on we found out with what Kilena had that these medicines should not have been mixed. And our concern also was did her doctor even ask about her heart condition? Did they know that she had a heart condition and that she had medication for that r or did did he just Willy nearly prescribe this medication? And we know that two weeks before because we found her her medication. We know that on the twentieth of the yeah, the twentieth of February, she got her prescription for the medication. And then they say that it takes fourteen days before it becomes and before it actually becomes full strength. And so Kaylaana went missing on the tenth. Everything that happened happened on the tenth, which would have been sixteen days. It would have been sixteen days. She had not been sleeping before that, so that would have almost been the two weeks fourteen days of medicine to become full strength in your body. And so she was in a bad place mentally on the morning of the night and so somehow or another she had got outside of Britney's house and she couldn't figure out how to get back in. And Kilna has had the code for Britney's house. She housed it there, she comes and goes because she does a lot of stuff for Brittany, and Brittany does a lot, but they're just really really close. And so Carolina has the code to get into Britney's house, and somehow or another that morning she got herself locked out of Britney's house and could not figure out how to get back in. And the most disturbing thing about that that was is that Britney went back and looked at the ring video on her her house, and we've seen it and we can tell that there's something seriously wrong that Catalina doesn't know. She can't figure out the code to get in the house, and it's a terrifying video to see her so confused that she doesn't know what to do. And so she left Britney's house and we found out later that from one of Britney's neighbors that she had gone to the neighbor's house to find Brittany, and the neighbor was like, you know, no, this is you're at the wrong house. And the neighbor was kind of like she knew that kay would have known how you know everything about Britney's house. And so kay Wanna left, she got in her car and left. Well, when Brittany got home, kay Wanna had sent a text to Brittany that said no help. Well, Brittany had been just trying to call Cave for her when she got this text message. Then that kicked it into hide gear for Brittany to really start looking for Kate. And kay wouldn't had tower the phone and she couldn't find find her. And so finally, I guess maybe an hour hour and a half later, Kaylaana finally picked up and she told Brittany that she was just driving around and Brittany said, well, you're going home, and Kay's like yeah, and she's like I'm okay, I'm just driving around. Well, then they Brittany was trying to give her her phone number and trying to talk to Kay, and Kay hung up and then she didn't answer again. Well, Brittany then called Carolina's boyfriend James and said, hey, there is something going on with Ca. She said she's driving around. So James got in his car and drove around till like two in the morning in Beaumont, in the Beaumont, Texas area. We actually lived in Lumberton, but Kay her apartment was in Beaumont, and so he drove around till two o'clock in the morning and couldn't find her. And he just assumed that she'd gone to stay the night with you know, either us, or had made it back to Britney's or so he went home because he had to be at work the next morning. And so by the next morning, Brittany calls me and she is terrified. And Brittany doesn't get terrified, and she said, there is something seriously wrong with Kaylana. I can't find her. Her locator is turned off on her phone. I can't find her. And so I took off work and I called my husband and I said, hey, there's something going on. I'm okay, I've got to go drive around Beaumont and see if I could find her, and I said, she's probably just pulled into a parking lot. She's probably asleep. And because Brittany had told me that she hadn't slept in several days, she just gets tired and she goes to sleep and you can't wait her up. And so I I'm talking to him and he says, maybe she decided to go to Austin. South By Southwest is fix the start and she had a great time last year at south By Southwest. So I called Brittany back and I said, Hey, can you call Kaelina's friend that lives in Austin and see if maybe she's in Austin. And so Brittany calls their friend in Austin and he tells Brittany that, oh, yeah, Kay called me last night and she said she was coming and she was in Hackley, Texas and her phone only had three percent charge on it, and I made her take down my number. So at that point, I'm already in Beaumont, so I head to I go ahead, and I head to my husband's work and I tell him what's going on, and he takes off work and we made the decision to drive towards Hockley, Texas. Right well, when we head out, I called Brittany back. Brittany at that point calls the Hardin County Sheriff's Department to follow missing person's report and she has to go back to her house to fill it out to follow it because it has to be the last place that Kailana was seeing. So Brittany is in sells me filling out a missing person's report for Kaylaana. Me and my husband Robbie are on our way to Hackley, Texas. I've never even heard of Hockley, Texas to that point. So we're on our way to Hockley, Texas, and I call. I decided to call the Austin Police Department to have them go do a well check at Kaylana's friend's house because I thought maybe she got there. She might have just not known he had moved, so she might have not have known what apartment to go to, and maybe she had just went to sleep in his drip away. And so I called the Austin Police Department and get an officer. They called me right back, and so I am sending an officer to do a well check at the friend's house. Okay, And so this police officer is telling me, Okay, I need you to send me all the information you can. So I'm sending the information on Kiloks car I'm sending her pictures of Kilna. I'm sending her Heeluna's bank account. I'm sending her everything that I have. Meantime, this officer is calling me and texting me and letting me know where she's at and what she's doing. You know, She's like, I'm three minutes out, uh huh, I'll be there. And so I had talked to William again, being talking about all of this is going on, and William tells me that he spoke to the Harris County Sheriff's Department and they were looking for Kailana. And I said, that just doesn't make any sense. So I told that to the Austin Police Department because Kate is a rule follower. And when I said that, Carolina is a rule follower. When she was in New York City during the pandemic, she was riding the subway all by herself. She was the only one. The subway would stop at every single thought that it had that she was the only one on the train. So I sent her a can of wasp pray. And I told her, I said, baby, if somebody is coming at you, you spray them this. They can't get within twenty five feet of you without you being able to at least spend them off a little bit. And so she said, Mama, you do know it is illegal to spray to somebody with waspray. I said, baby, if someone is attacking you and coming after you, I said, you spray them and when the police get there, you swear to God that they were covered and washed them and you were saving their life. Yeah. Absolutely, she was in a dangerous situation that subway because she was the only one on that train, and she wouldn't even think about doing something that was EAI. That is who she is. But when she came back from New York, she took them, carried that wasp freight in my bag every day, so you know. But she is a wool follower. So the fact that they said that the Harris County Shares Department was looking for her just did not make any sense to us. So we're driving and we get to Hockley, Texas. Brittany has finished filling out her missing person's report in Hardin County and has sent me the missing person's number for Harden County. We get to Hockley and we had stopped at the McDonald's and we get a phone call from the Austin Police Department and she said, it is true that the Harris County Sheriff's Department is looking for Kaalaina. She said they were searching for her with a dog and a helicopter because she ran through somebody's property and did damage and attempted to run over a police officer. None of this made sense to us. We are like in Shaw, you know. And so the officer says, I'm so sorry to tell you this, and she wished this good luck and hung up with her. And I immediately called the Harris County Sheriff's Department. When I did this, the sheriff that they passed the deputy that they patched me through to the first thing he asked me, was you know When I told him what was going on, and he said, is your daughter homeless? And I said, no, sir, she's not. He said her car was full of bags of clothes and I said, yes, sir, I know. I said she had just moved out of a place that had bed bugs and she had taken all the clothes to the laundromat to wash, and she had packed them in clean white trash bags and they were all in her car. And I said, she has a vintage clothing company that she does a little pop ups at shops and sells her vintage clothing. And he's like, oh, so she's not homeless, and I said, no, sir, she's not homeless. She's like, well, she does drugs, and I said, no, God, she does not do drugs. So this man immediately was accusing her of being a homeless drug addict. Yeah. And so finally he is like, well, I'm fixing to get off, but I will give you the address of where all this happened at. So he tells us the address and we head over there. Well, when we get to the location, which was in Holly Holly, I'm sorry, Holly Creep Trails neighborhood, we get there and the homeowner, my husband and I meet the homeowners for where this happened at, and the lady tells us that that morning, at five twenty five in the morning, she had noticed a car in her driveway and she went out there and there was a woman sleeping in the car and she could not wake her up. That is what happens when kay goes into a field, and that's what happens when you haven't had sleep in multiple days. And at this point we knew that she maybe hadn't slept in four days because of the medication change. So I'm talking to the lady and my husband is talking to the man and he says, well, her car is down in the woods. I will walk you down there. He tells my husband that. So I'm there with the lady and the lady begins to tell me that my daughter was in their neighborhood. Their neighborhood had a little problem. They had a somebody had had an airbnb, and the whole neighborhood was up in arms because there was this airbnb, and they were accusing the people that were ringing the airbnb of being drug dealers, and which none of that was true. The people actually had just come in that night and one of the people they flew in from Arizona or somewhere, but one of their family members had had a stroke from being on the airplane and so they were at the hospital. So these people they came in and checked into the airbnb, and then they went to the hospital to meet their family members, and so we found out from them that when they got home. They came home in the early morning hours and Kaylena was actually asleep in their driveway and they were able to rouse her and she just moved her car into the next driveway, which is where the incident happened at. So the lady was unable to wait Klena up, and so she called the police to come because she said she thought Kaylena was dead. So meantime we found out and I'm not sure this is just what we were told from the people in the neighborhood that there was a constable there. Now that none of that is in the police report that there was a constable there, and my husband actually called to check on that fact. But what she told me was that the homeowners association president had blocked the cul de sac so that the person, this drug addict couldn't get out of the subdivision. So the call desack was blocked. Kaylana was woken up, she throve her car down across their yard and got down to the street because they had the car park behind her. She drove her car across the yard and drove down to where the call desack was blocked. At that point, the homeowners association president took a picture of Kilana and you can just imagine because it was dark, you know, it was the early morning hours, so cameras flashing at you. Oh yeah, well we have that picture. Kailana's lips are completely blue. It is obvious she's in some kind of medical emergency. There is something serious going on. So not only was she in a mental crisis, she was having a cardiac event. But they didn't recognize this. So she drove her car all the little houses in that subdivision halfgate, so there was nowhere else for her to pull. So she pulled back in that lady's strawway and she parked. And this is what the lady is telling me. Meantime, my husband has walked down towards where Catalana's car is bogged down with the home with the husband and has walked down there. So I'm talking to this lady and she is telling me everything that happened. And she said, so the uh when the police showed up, she said, I thought she was going to hit my compounds and I thought she was going to hit my car. She said that she was very careful. She got up. She was very careful, and from what she told me, Kaylaana was sitting in her car and the police officer came up on her and tried to get in her car. And when he tried to get in her car, she locked the door. So imagine you're already scared. You don't know what's going on. You're trapped. Yeah, someone is trying to get into your car, and she locked the door. At that moment, this officer apparently got angry and he was trying to get in the car and Kailana was up against the picket fence, and from what we understand, he picked up a tuba four and busted out her driver side window. She's sitting in her car. He bust out the window with a tub by four. Oh my gosh. So at that point, she drives on through the fence and down at Alleyway and into the neighbor's yard and they had an outbuilding, and that neighbor said, he said she was very careful. He said, I don't know how she didn't hit the building, he said, but she very carefully went around the building. And this this neighbor said, she couldn't have been doing more than three or four miles an hour. I mean, it's in somebody's yard. And she then drives through his fence, which is a bar bar fence, and across the pasture. And at that point he's asking the police officers, will aren't you going to follow her? And at that point they're like, well, there's nowhere she can go, you know. And this homeowner says, we literally had to urge the police officers to follow her. He said, had the police officers even walked at a jaunt, they would have passed the car. And so she drove her car down, went through another fence, and then bogged her car down and got out of the car. And so this is where what my husband learned when he was down there, and this is from his perspective that she When he got down to the car, he found her shoes. Her shoes were full of glass, oh gosh. And he followed. They were telling him how she went. He followed and he found there was a log across Spring Creek which she went across. Once she crossed Spring Creek, then that meant that she was in Montgomery County. And he knows that she made it across that log because he found her barefoot prints on the other side. So from there they the police officers. They left all of her stuff in the car. Her purse was there, her purse that had her medication, her she had a little overnight bag that had like shampoo and stuff like that, and there was nothing in her car. There was a she acuterie board. And come to find out later that they they said that they reacted the way they did because they thought they saw a shotgun. Oh my god, I would like to see the load. A shotgun shell and a shecuterie board so wild, so wild, right, and the secutary board. Kilaina actually uses that to display her nae jewel real uh huh. So it's just a big wooden word like she's a meat on. So that was the only thing in her card that could have possibly been a shot that is never even held a gun. Wild knowledge and you know, so the fact that they were treading her this way just did not did not make any sense to us. So I'm up the house and this lady is telling me that my daughter is a homeless drug addict who has Lawrence, and I'm telling her that that is a lie. And she told me, she said, you don't know your daughter this is what the police said. I said, ma'am, I know my daughter and that is all a lot. That is not who my daughter is. And she said she was here to buy drugs from the airbnb house, and I said, she doesn't do drugs. And the only thing I could think about the airbnb house was Katwana does rent airbnb's when she travels. Maybe she had decided to rent the Airbnb. I don't know. Oh yeah, but so we The lady tells me that the police had told her where they thought Katlina had come out, and so she texted me that address. So about that time, my husband comes walking up and he is carrying Katwana's purse in her little overnight bag, and in her overnight bag he has her shoes that he had picked up and dumped the glass, and he carried them up to the house. And I'm telling him that they said that this was where they think that she came out at. So then we drive, we leave this house, and we were devastating. We just we cannot figure out. They tell us that they had a dog and a helicopter out searching for Killuna and they couldn't find her. Now, bear in mind, they have a girl in a hot pink long dress. It's actually a vintage robe. I was with her when she bought so excited, so excited when she found it. It's one of those fancy vintage robes from the nineteen seventies. She always saw that, so cute and everything. So she's wearing this long dress and she's barefooted, and it's hot pink. So the police had called in a dog in a helicopter, and it took forty five minutes for them to get there with the dog and the helicopter. They did not do any reconnaissance I guess looking for her. We're talking about a girl who is barefoot, who is in a long, hot pink dress, and she's in a wooded area, and so they waited for the dog and the helicopter to get there. But here's the deal. When she crossed Spring Creek, she was no longer in Harris County. Now she was in Montgomery County. Once she entered Montgomery County, it was their responsibility then to call Montgomery County and say, we have a fugitive, because that's what they thought she was. We have a fugitive that is now in Montgomery County and we need your help. But did they do that. They did not. In fact, they waited three hours before they called Montgomery County to let them know. So they had done the helicopter and run the helicopter out of gas. They had the dog in the woods. And when the police officer approached Kilana's car, when he finally worked his way down there, he is holding a gun on her car, limp wristed and leaning back like he's scared the death of her that she is going to harm him in some way. He's holding a gun, limp wristed. That in itself is yeah. We actually showed that video to our friend Kaelana house sits for a retired Texas Department of Transportation. He's a DPS. He was a retired state trooper. She house sits for him. Her uncle was a and was retired Burnham Parish sheriff's deputy. Her great uncle, her great uncle from my side of the family, was the chief of police in Leesville, Louisiana. She had no reason to fear police, right, but she did have reason to fear men that were attacking her and trying to get in her car and busted her window out with a chubat four. Yeah, absolutely they had. They called the Montgomery County and said there is a girl and she's headed y'all's way. She would have run to that police car and said someone is chasing me, someone has attacked me, Please help me, but they took that away from her. So my husband and I after talking to these people, and there was no convincing this lady that my daughter was anything more than a homeless drug addict. With once, there was no changing her mind and that was it. So we made our way over to Decker Periri rose Hill Road where they said that the dog tracked her to. So while we were doing that, our pastor we go to we Pressed Methodist Church here in Lumberton. Helana has been raised in this church her whole life. And our pastor had come from a church in the Tomball area and one of the men in his church what worked with Texas at Research, and so he got in touch with him, and that man said, y'all need to get a missing person's report filled out. And at this time, by this time, the Hardin County Sheriffs Department had called us and told us they had canceled the missing persons in Harden County because she had been spotted in Harris County. Will come to find out later they were not supposed to cancel that missing persons. They should not have canceled that missing persons because those police officers had not made contact with Carolina, they had not spoke to her. They didn't know what they were doing, you know, So that missing person should not have been canceled, but they did. They canceled it. So Mark with the textures that Wasser said, y'all need to follow another missing person's report. So we called Harris County and they told us that we needed to meet them back at the house where the incident had happened. We had gone over to the house where they said they thought she came out on debor Bury Rosehillor and my husband and I while those whole woods, that whole wooded area, screaming kill Ona's name, calling through bramble, trying to find her, trying to find anything that that she had even been there, and we found nothing. The lady was so generous and kind she allowed us to search all of her buildings. The lady was out there with us holler and kill Ona's name. I mean, she was just precious. She didn't have to do that but she did that for us. So by this time we made contact with text of the EQUA search. He said, go back, you know, follow missing Harshon's report. So we called Harris County and they tell us that they that we had to follow it at the house where the incident started. So we head back over there. Well, when we get back over there, all the people in the neighborhood are coming and they're talking to us. And so one of the men walked up to me and I said, Hi, my name is ro was a calhounant and my daughter is and I say her name, and he said, I googled your lovely daughter. I think there's been a horrible mistake. At that point, the majority of the people in that neighborhood knew that there had been a horrible mistake. They had googled my daughter's name. The homeowners had already the police had already given them the information for Kailana's insurance, and they had already filed acclaim with Kailana's insurance company that day. Oh my gosh, they had already filed acclaim with the insurance company. How many homeless drug addicts have insurance on them? Yeah, yeah, absolutely, wow. And so we're waiting for the police to get there, and finally when they come, you know, the whole neighborhood is telling us what happened. So a lot of the things that we know happened, we know from that day when they told us what happened. They had no reason to lie to us. Yeah, they had no reason to sugarcoat what went down. You know, there was no reason for that, right. And so we're following the missing person's report. I'm telling them about her heart condition. I'm telling them that she was in some kind of mental crisis. I'm telling them all of this. Well, while I'm telling them this, the officer says they're going to be warrants follow on her, and when those warrants are falled, this missing persons will go away and she will be a fugitive. And I said, is there no way they can wait? She is in a medical crisis And he said no. Well, by this time, you know, while we're there and we're trying to fill out the missing person's report, Carolina's best friend, Brittany and her husband Viet get to us and they're there so they're able to help fill in stuff while we're giving you know, member you're both working in hand them to give the police officer all the information. I've gone through her purse. I've found her medicine bottles. I've got her driver's license. I'm showing them that. I'm showing them the registration on her car. I'm showing them that everything is legal on her car. Everything is you know, And I'm showing them all of her medication. She has asthma, you know. I'm trying to let them know how serious this is. So then the police officer says he would like to walk down to the car where the car is blocked down. So one of the homeowners, the second homeowner where Kay had gone through his fans, he graciously went down there with us and the police officer. We walked down there and took Calaina's car, and that is when I saw the picture. I did not know at that moment that they had busted her way. I knew her window had been busted out. They told me her when they had been busted out. I did not know her window had been busted out by a two bull board. I only knew that her window had been busted out. So we get down there. Her car is bogged down, you know, of course it's dark at this point, it's not time, and the police officer is like, how in the world, how in the world did she get away from them? The police officer is saying that, He's like, this is crazy. How in the world did she get away from them? Wow? And of course we had no idea, you know, and so we walked back up after going down there. You know, we can see that she still has all the clothes in the car. We can see the saccutity board. We can see that the car is has laundry detergent and it has like friar sheets and all this stuff. You know, I'm surprised that they didn't charge her with law ing of some kind. She had laundry determined, you know, literally it was a keystone cop thing. Yeah, well, there was no mention of her. The lady said that, you know, they were saying that she had attempted to murder the you know, to run over the police officers. So that's attempted murder that they were going to charge her with. And none of that made sense because that's what the homeowners were saying. She never went more than two or three dos to the Yeah, if you can't move out of the way at two or three miles an hour. You're in trouble. Yeah, absolutely, Yeah. And as I said, she is a rule follower. She had no idea these were police officers. But still she cared enough to not run over the people's pump house, to not run over the lady's car, to not run over the neighbor's house, you know. And she was for her life after being attacked and having someone take your picture. Imagine sitting in your car trying to leave and somebody is flashing taking pictures of you when you are have just been woken up, you're in a cardiac event, then you're in a mental meltdown. Yeah, the circus is happening. So we fill out the missing persons. At this point we know he's like, she's going to jail for a long time. I'm like, do you not understand that she's in some kind of crisis. We don't care. They don't care that she's in a mental crisis. They don't care that she's in a cardiac event. They don't care that she's barefoot, They don't here. They're going to follow these charges and she will be going to jail, and that is all they care. About So at this point we are talking to Mark with the Equi search and he tells us that he is going to get a small group of people together the next morning, because he said, we have to do this before these warrants come into play, because once that happens, we cannot help y'all. And so that morning we met them at seven in the morning out at the lady's house where they thought that she came out and Mark. They brought some dogs and of course they didn't let us be there. So at this point we went and had fires printed up with Kaiawana's picture on it with the number for the Harris County Sheriff the barbon, because we wanted to clear this up. We knew that none of this was true, so we put their number on every fire that we were handing out that first day. This is I mean, we were working baths, you know, we had fires. Well, Market said that we could not be at the search site. So for six hours they searched those woods where they where they think that she came out at. They were out there with dogs and they searched I think they had a couple of dogs and they searched. He did He called it mowing the lane. So they went back and forth. He said they did like two hundred miles in that little area. Oh wow, yeah, because they were going back and forth and back and forth. So and they believed that she had made it out to Deca Prairie Rose Hill Road also, and that is what the police believe. So while that was going on, me and my husband were in Tomball passing out fires. We're talking to people. We're telling them what she's wearing. We're trying to talk to him and see if anybody has seen her. Anybody has you know, we're doing what we can. We're talking to the Tombult Police department. We're talking to people trying to find our daughter. This is the first day, this is the eleven. So we're doing that. Well, then the warrants come into play. Mark Causen says, okay, we're out. You know, we can't help y'all anymore. So within six hours, wow, we had no help. So then it is us. It's Killaana's best friend, it's my husband and me. My niece came to help, and we are just papering the town with wires with Kilana's picture on it, trying to get help. Trying to find her. So we got all of our friends involved, we got our church involved. We said, we need to get these more instrut because we have to get this missing person reinstated. Because if we don't get this missing person reinstated, we cannot get help. It's just us. So we're working tirelessly and they're telling us that they're not gonna and our friends are calling the DA, and our friends were calling this show the apartment. Our friends are calling all over saying drop these charges, please drop these charges, and they're saying no. And I called the DA and I'm trying to talk to them, and she said, our job is not to help you. Our job is to prosecute your daughter to the fullest. We are not here to help you. And I am trying to explain to her that Kaylana is sick and we have to find her. Yeah, and there was no concern for Kaylana to help whatsoever. So we're going to hospitals, we're trying to visit homeless places. We're trying to do everything we can. We were out there searching every day. Every day. We're hanging out flyers, we're talking to people. Well, finally we realized that they are not They are not doing anything for Kaylaana. If someone called in a tip, we don't even think they were following up on it. So then and we put flyers out with our phone number on it, that we begin to get calls. And so by then Carolina's boyfriend, he had wanted to come the first day that Friday, he just tried to come, and we said, no, you have to stay in case she comes home to momont you have to be at home to be there for her. So by Sunday he is beside himself, he is on his way. He loves her, you know, he's trying to get there. Yea. So we've got our small band of people in that morning that Sunday morning. Now bear in mind we watched the news because we did not come prepared to spend the night. We thought we were coming to get a girl that had run out of gas and was sleeping in a parket lot. Ye you know, we were going to drive to Austin and follow that route. We were unprepared to be spending the night and looking for our missing child that had had her window busted out by the police department. Right, So we're driving around, Well, something happened to my van. And my van broke down in Tomball and we were at an old change place and they went to check it because it was losing oil and there was something seriously wrong with my van, and so we took the fires. This was Sunday morning, and I just walked the streets of Tomball, walked down to all the churches in the downtown area and passed out hundreds and hundreds of flyers. I went to all the churches that I could walk to while we waited for Carolina's best friend to get there to come and get us. And so our car ended up having to be towed to a shop, and the person that picked our van was wonderful, wonderful. But so we're walking, we're looking, we're talking to people, we're doing everything we can to find our daughter. While I was walking, I ran into some men that were working on their motorcycles and they said they were part of a Christian motorcycle group that they were fixing to go on a ride, and they took the flyers that we had and they were going to look for Kilana. You know, the people of Tomball are the kindest, the most loving, the most unbelievable people in the whole bi world. I have to say that about Tomball and the people here. It's an amazing little community and they have showed us so much love over the past eighty seven days as we have fought to find our daughter. So for two weeks we were fighting with the Harris County Sheriff's Department trying to get Kialaan as missing persons reinstated, and they were arguing with us and they were telling us there was no way that that could happen. And so we had made the updates for Kailana Turner page and uh through that there was a retired Harris County sheriff that got on there and he said, you people are lying. There is no way the things that you are saying are true. And by then we had seen the police report where they said we thought they had punched the window out with one of those window punching out yeah report. In the actual report it says they busted the window out with the tube by four. Can you imagine the force that you would have to use. How hard would you have to swing a two by four to bust a window out? And that is what was coming at Kahlana Wow a two by four, and so you know, of course, when we find that out, we're horrified. We're telling people that that's important for people to know that she was literally attacked that morning. And so the the officer said, you could have a missing persons and a warrant at the same time, and so Brittany sent him everything that we have and he called her and he talks to her, and he had actually retired from the warrants division, and so he gave Brittany the words to say to get her missing persons reinstated. So here we are a week later. We had gone to follow a complaint against Herris County sheriff because by now we've had the people in the neighborhood tell us what happened. We've seen kind of a redacted report of what's happening that they did put in there about the two by four and stuff. So we knew that what they were saying did not match with the people in the neighborhood were telling us. So we were following the complaint and my husband's uncle had said, you need to follow a complaint because Montgomery County wasn't called for so many hours. He said the number one thing. When I'm in Burnham Parrish and I'm headed towards Bollgard Parrish, I'm right on ahead and telling them, hey, we're headed your way. We may not get there, but meet me at the border, at the county line, at the parish line, you know. And so we're there, We're all three that to follow a complaint. I'm gonna follow it, my husband's gonna follow it, and Brittany's gonna follow it. Well. Then the officer for following the complaint comes out and says, we only need one of the rest of you know, we only need one person. So me and Brittany decide that we're going to go and to get this warrant removed doing or at least get her missing person's report reinstated, using what this officer, retired officer, had told us. So we head to downtown Houston to the address that he gave us to get there, and they tell us no, that they cannot help us. And Brittany every time they would say no, we cannot do this, and Brittany say, no business, business, this is this, and she can have both, and they're like, no, they can't. And finally they kept running us from place to place, and finally, somehow or another, we ended up at the jail in downtown Houston. Oh wow. And we are at the counter and the lady, the officer that is running the counter for the jail, says, I don't know why y'all are here. This is not where you're supposed to be. I can't help you. And Brittany said, no, they told us they sent us here. They said there was somebody here that would help us, and we need help. And so every time the lady would try to say no, Brittany would come back with all the reasons why they need to help us. Yeah, this point, an officer comes from the back and his name was Officer Munas and he comes out and he's like, I don't know why y'all are talking to me. He said, really, this is this is the jail. And he said that, so, well, this is the jail. Yell are at the wrong place. And we said, Brittany said, they sent us to you for a reason and we need help, and you're the person that they sent us to and he said, well, I did use the work in the warrant division. Let me see what I can do. And so we spent about two and a half hours with Officer Munus And let me tell you, he would call. He called so many people, and after two and a half hour, somebody would tell him something and he could say, well, they said this, this, this, and they would say okay, well let us and then they were people calling him back and stuff. After two and a half hours, Officer Munie looks at us. He pulls out a card and he writes down in number and he said, you have your missing persons. You have your missing persons. Oh wow, they reinstated her missing persons. This is fifteen days later. Wow. Everybody knows there's a TV show called forty eight hours Hours. The first forty eight hours of a person missing is the most critical. Yeah. Absolutely, there we are fifteen days later, but we're holding her missing person. So the officer that had been assigned to her at first, his name is Joel and so, but then we call my husband and he has just finished up with the complaint and we're trying to meet up, and so we end up at a watermarker somewhere in downtown Houston and we're telling him that we have the missing person. And me and Brittany are just sobbing because we cannot believe that we have the missing person, because we believe that this is the key for us to be able to get help, because no news stations would talk to us, no newspapers would talk to us, nobody would talk to us because Kaylana was not a missing person. She was a fugitive. So we could get no help. And every time someone would tell us that I just we could see her text saying no help, that there was no help for her. She was in trouble and there was no help. Nobody was going to help her. And so we meeted the water Burger and this time it's late in the day and we hadn't eaten because we've been trying to take there all this stuff, and so we order food and Robbie called Joel, who was the Hair's counting missing person's department man that had her at the start, and tells him, we have per missing person's number. This is what it is. This is who you need to talk to. And Joel is telling us he's never seen this before. He has to check on it, and he said, I'll call you back. So at this point, Brittany is in school. Britney is you know, has to get back home. And me and my usband there had been a possible sighting up Kaylana in Conro, and so we jump in our vand and we had the wards Conro. Brittany heads back to be back at school and we had to wards Conro to check out this lead where that it was possible. We get the Conro and Joel calls and he says, it's true. It's true. Permising persons has been reinstated. Now we're going to be able to get help. So we start hauling TV stations, we start hauling news outlets, We start hauling people saying, please help us, we have to find our daughter. And we still had people that didn't want to help us. The police, the Harris Kunty Sheriff's Department. Their narrative was always the first narrative. Their narrative was the first narrative. And then oh yeah, she made her family says that she was in a mental crisis, you know, but she definitely and it wasn't that she was presumed innocent until found guilty. You know, she was guilty of these charges. She is guilty, and she was always presented as guilty. It was never alleged. It was always she did this and this and this, you know, with no quarter for her whatsoever. And so we uh, I think channel I can't remember one of the TV stations came out. Rwan was, yeah, I think that a report and of us we were We literally moved into the Office Depot parking lot in tom Baught, Texas. Those people at Office Depot are amazing, amazing. They are the sweetest, kindest people ever. They would push stuff aside to print up Kilana's flyers and we have passed we have passed out more than twenty thousand flyers with Kailana's face on them, more than twenty thousand, and the majority of those have been printed at the Office Depot in tom Law, Texas. Wow. Those people work tirelessly to help us to find her. So we continue to fight to find Kailana. When the police tell us that this is a cold case, we're still fighting for Kilana. When they tell us that we cannot view the video from that morning, we continue to fight for Kilana because we are all that Kaylana has. We're the only person, the only people that can help her. Because the people that are supposed to help her are out to get her. Their mission is to take her to jail and to destroy her life. You know, we're blessed because we ended up going to Harris County's Day of the Missing and we were put in touch with Gabby Hart, and Gabby Hart did a story on Kaelana on Fox twenty six. And we were hesitant to talk to her because we knew we had been shot down so many times. The Houston Chronicle had called and said they would they were going to do a story on her. I talked to them for over an hour. I sent them tons of pictures. I sent them all kinds of her published works, all kinds of stuff, and only to be told we decided not to do your story. Wow. And they were not the first one. The TV stations here in her hometown would not do her story. We cannot get anybody to help us. The only thing they will do is say that she is a missing fugitive. That is it. We had friends that said I have trusted the news in Gomont, the news station, and they said I turned it off because they did nothing but tell lies on Kajana and they knew they only carried the narrative of the Harrison County Sheriff's Department. We have fought tirelessly. We have called every single elected official, we have sent emails, we have sent letters. All our friends have done it. Ken Paxton's office, one of the men that was like his representative that Ansibaphon, said, well, maybe she's with the thrifting people that thrifts close. And so we I have a friend that's like very computer savvy. He literally put together probably about thirty or forty of our friends and they email and called every single antique store, every single music store, every single thrift store from the Louisiana border, all across the state of Texas to Old Passo, all the way up to Dallas. They blanketed it with emails. She said. He Wanta's sunny school class teacher when she was little. Her and her husband contacted probably four or five hundred people. You know, people don't do that for a homeless truck. Yeah right, you know. So. But what I want to say and what I want people to get is that right now I have a Koalaana size hole in my heart and there is nothing that will replace that. I will look for her till the day I die or the day she is found. There is nothing that will fill that hole. There is nothing that will replace her. And there is a world of people out there and they have a god sized hole in their heart and they run here and they run there looking for something to fill that hole. And there is nothing that will fill that except for Jesus. You know. I will run here and I will run there. I will run anywhere. Anybody tells me that they've possibly seen Kallana, I will get there. I will send the police. I will send somebody to look and check and make sure. If it could be hard, you know, yeah, there's kill a hole in my heart. It will only be filled with fun and most m M. That is our story. And I hope I've covered everything you know you did. I mean, I can't imagine. I cannot imagine all that you have been through, all that you're going through and having to tell that story to so many people. Oh so, what what can we do to help? I know, sharing her story, getting on the Facebook page? Is there anything else we can do to help propel her story out there? Write your local efficient officials, call the TV stations, call the newspapers. We feel like the only thing that will help us is to get Kailana's story to go national, because if it doesn't go national It won't go anywhere because the local media will not tell her story, but people in her hometown will not tell her story, you know. Yeah, And if you remember with Kavi Patio, she the police actually put out video to make her look crazy when she was vissing and her family was desperately seeking her, And had they not had the national media involved, that man would have got away with murdering their daughter. They're getting away with hurting a mentally ill girl who was in a cardiac event, who is Asthmaiti, who is let her car barefooted, and it'll all have pack dress and they are perfectly okay with that. They're perfectly okay with her not being found. But if they do find her, a will arrest her and take her to do exceptable Yeah, one hundred percent agree. Oh well, all the people that are listening, I really want you guys to at least share this with pick five people, you know, share this episode so we can get Kaylana's story out because it is so so vital, so so important. I've had people say, oh, one hundred percent it's her. We're fighting right now. There's a lady that says that you know our daughter was somewhere, and I have told her repeatedly that we had that lead checked out, so we can't keep letting false narrative go. Right. We are desperately searching for our daughter. If we get a lead, you can vet your bottom doll or that we are chasing it down, yeah, checking it out. We are. We are searching for her. Every single day. Our life is devoted to finding Kayalana. She is not a criminal. She is literally the sweetest, the kindest, the most loving and caring girl in the whole wide world. Right. She has loved deeply by her family, she has loved deeply by her friends, and she is loved by the people that we have met and tumble that never even met her. And I've had so many people tell me I don't even know her, blah love her. Yeah, how amazing is that? Yeah? That is? And that's I mean, that's how I feel because I feel like I've gotten to know her just through chatting with you, and I feel like it's important. And I've mentioned this in previous episodes. It's so important to realize that this is a real person. This someone's daughter, someone's girlfriend, someone's friend, someone's family member, and it could happen to any of us at any given moment. This could be what we're going through. So she fell asleep in a stranger strangway, Yeah, that was her prime that morning, right, And now she has been charged with three felony warrens and to miss the manor warrant they have more. Her bond is set higher than the bond of a murderer. Wow at this point, and we don't understand it. We we really don't understand it. They have her on the top twenty jugitives in Harris County. You can go you see her. If Katlina house DIDs, she sings, she's just she's super super talent. Did she praise multiple instruments. And if Kaylina was to show up at your house to babysit your children, you would be so thrilled that she was the person that was there because you would know that your children were well taken care of. Right. If she was the person that was supposed to house sit for, you would be thrilled because she has so many people that want her to house it it. You know, no, she she literally is the kindest person. She was a Lamar University ambassador. She won three point six eight million dollars in scholarships. Wow, she's she's just amazingly smart. And because of living through the pandemic in New York, she came back home with PTSD, ended up with a doctor that really had no concern for her actual well being and he over medicated her. And here we are. Yeah, wow, mental health. Mental health should not be a crime. A mental health crisis should not make you a criminal. Yeah, I one hundred percent agree with everything that you just said. Absolutely, thank you so much. Choe for your time. You're very welcome. Please everybody, please share our story, please talk about Kilina. There are people that are not on social media that have not even heard about her. We have passed out thousands and thousands and thousands of flyers all in the Tomball area, and every day we are met with somebody that says, I've never even heard about this, Right, please share a story. I always do a little like photo post when I do an episode, So there's anything particular you want me to share, or I can just go to her Facebook page, yeah, the missing page and I'll share that as well. Okay, yeah, because I definitely want to share just so people know what she looks like. And I think you guys are asking that if somebody does think that they see her, to snap a photo and send to you. Right. That has saved us so many trips, yeah, because if they don't, if they don't take a photo, then we have to physically go there and find that person. Right, And we've lived at thousands of hours. Oh gosh, that video, you know, just trying to fund the person. So I thought they thought right. And you know, the easiest way to help anybody, for anybody that is missing, you see someone that you think possibly mats, take a picture. One thing we didn't mention is that there is a five thousand dollars reward through crime Stoppers for information leading to finding Kayalana. And when we were talking about calling your elected officials, they're really trying to get Edi Gonzalez, who is the sheriff of Harris County, to speak with them, just sit down and have a conversation. So I would recommend calling his office. There's two different phone numbers. One of them is three four six two eight six one five seven four and the other number is seven to one three two two one six thousand, And I really just urge everyone, if you're listening to this, please take a minute to do that. Reach out on social media more or less just so we can hopefully get these charges dropped so they can get a little bit more assistance with the search for her, because as you can tell, it's a dire situation and it's been as of the time I'm recording this, it's been eighty eight days. So it is very, very important and imperative that we find Kaylana asap and get the word out, get her face out. Thank you guys so much for listening.
